New Zealand Glacier Water Salmon - fresh and filling. best i've had at a restaurant.

The staff at this restaurant is delightful! It has a great atmosphere.

No....and no.  First off, the food is not great and certainly not for what it cost. To start, mushroom soup which was very good. Shrimp louie salad which was OK but see end of review.

For main, had the halibut special, the fish seemed like it was decent quality but just tasted like salty soy sauce and onions. My other half had the lobster pasta. The lobster had the consistency of a ball of loosely braided rubber bands.

The service was prompt, but was not told that there was an extra charge to have the shrimp louie salad have half crab. It was $32.00 which is a lot already but the additional change for the crab cost an extra $16.00 to a total of $48.00. Yes..a $48.00 salad (it's almost funny..I said almost). I may have been OK with the extra charge but not to be told and then luckily notice it on my bill is something else. When I questioned it, the waiter said "I did not want to mention there is an extra charge because Beverly Hills customers may get offended" Seriously? no it's more offensive to have something added to a bill without being told. How about "oh so sorry, I forgot to mention it" instead? Of course it was taken off. I still left a tip.

One star, but the Bedford Mule drink was very good. Not going back, ever.

I've been looking for a great restaurant on Bedford and this is not it.

It's just average food at very high prices and I wasn't able to find any parking.  I'm new to Yelp and really enjoy spreading positive vibes but i can't recommend this place.

I'll review again in six months.

I've been to this place a few times-  I think the other ratings are a bit deceiving.

The food is pretty run of the mill upscale bar food-  nothing special and not a great offering for what's in the neighborhood.

Management can be unfriendly and unaccommodating.

Would not recommend this restaurant;  you can do better in the immediate vicinity.   Go here if you want a quick bite and don't particularly care about the price or standards.

I cannot warn you loudly enough to steer clear of this place.  They initially brought out a charcuterie plate with one of the meats smelling of rotten fish.  A small taste confirmed the scent (God help me if I get sick).  We informed the server who proceeded to tell us that it was normal and "some people don't like the flavor."  Perhaps it was a variety of ham we've never had before.  Pray we never encounter it again.

The server came out while we were having the appetizer and asked if we wanted the entrees.  That's always a bad sign.  We should have just said yes but decided to ask him to wait.  He then disappeared.  20 minutes later another server brings out the entrees.  The fish dish had been reheated but the spinach and potatoes were room temperature.  We informed the server that it was cold.  So he took the plate.  Five minutes later an even more overcooked piece of fish with double the sauce to hide the texture emerges.  At least the spinach was hot.

Oh and the special salad--a crab Louie, was more expensive than the priciest dish on the menu by far.  The server did not inform us of prices when he gave the specials.

$110 lighter, we have vowed never to return.  This place is the definition of overpriced crap.

NOT the restaurant it once was! My meal was overcooked, then raw. My son's meal was ridiculously off in temperature as well! We sat the whole meal while the others are dinner. After they were finished, ours arrived. Mine was so wrong again, I returned it and went hungry. They never even brought the two of us any fresh side dishes that the other three had eaten while hot. The manager was not kind or helpful and never even returned after the first time we asked him to please come and help us. This was our father's  day celebration and they RUINED our night. Adding insult to injury, they forgot to check is off as being there for our open table reservation and that has penalties. What a disaster!
    Our opinion....DO NOT GO HERE!

Upon entering, the restaurant is welcoming. The vibe was fairly sedate but busy. Service was efficient but very hurried and lacked warmth or charm. Twice, a manager-type person/man delivered our food and literally plopped the plates down quickly, not even bothering to clear the table of the previous course. And it was done without a smile. I also witnessed the table next to us complaining of an overdone steak, so the server (our server too), holding a previous used plate, asked the patron to put the steak herself onto the used plate to take back to the kitchen - quite unprofessional.

    APPETIZER/SIDE
Roasted brussel sprouts with bacon - $8

Basic brussel sprouts and bacon that seemed to be sitting around for a while. No char or roasted quality detected on the sprouts, no extra seasoning noted. Skip it.

    ENTREE
    Bistro Steak Frites - $33

A NY steak without bone, nicely cooked and seasoned. It was served with nice arugula salad and soggy, soft fries.

Channel Island White Sea Bass with puttanesca and broccolini - $29

This fish was perfectly cooked and sizable. The broccolini was crisp. The puttanesca (olives) overpowered the delicate flavor of the sea bass. I'm glad it was placed on the side. Good dish overall.

I was expecting much more from this high end eatery in Beverly Hills. The prices are ok for the overall quality and portion size, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. There are much better places to go for good food and service.

parking - free or inexpensive lots closeby

Declining fast, might have been waiter, but not good. First, my daughter is gluten free and asked the waiter David if a  dish was gluten free. His response was "more or less"?? It either is or isn't. We asked him to find out for sure & he came back and said, other than bread, it was gluten free.  She ordered it and told him no bread. Guess what, it came with bread. Then I ordered mine with no salt, on steak, fries or anything else, and it came very salty and overcooked. My wife ordered an artichoke & it was too hard to eat (they didn't boil it long enough before putting it on the grill) and she asked them to cook it more, & they put it on the grill and burned the sh*t out of it so it was totally black and inedible. The person delivering it and the chef thought that was just fine, but the manager at least agreed it was overcooked. Another guest ordered a cobb salad which came with avocado (that wasn't shown on the menu, but that can happen). When she told them she was allergic to avocado, they took it away and replaced it but the replacement salad still had avocado. While the manager offered to replace my wife's dish or get her another artichoke, we didn't have time to wait for replacement dishes. Neither the manager nor waiter offered a complimentary dessert or anything else to make up for this, really no customer concern or care.
I have eaten here many times, but this was a new low. We had to get to the theater so couldn't wait around to get the dishes replaced, which is why I ate my steak, but this is inexcusable. I used to go here at least once a month; never again. Its off my list, too bad.
NOTE: this has been noted by other diners, while the menu items are reasonably priced, be warned that the specials, for which they do not quote prices, are very expensive, at least $45 for each item. Waiter should provide the price--old and tired trick of restaurants to increase tabs by not telling prices of specials.  I have noticed that every time I've eaten here (at least 12-15 times) so its not new, its an established practice and pattern.
I would like them to get their act together, but this experience was so bad that I doubt I will return.

Not a lot of people have mentioned this, but the happy hour here is excellent! 4-7pm, delicious snacks, solid cocktails, and a very attentive staff. Multiple servers attended to us every few minutes which got confusing, but whatever.

The bar was full so we were seated on the patio, which is thoughtfully (and not over-) heated on chillier evenings. Really nice escape from the tourists on Rodeo Dr. Fast service, considering it was a busy happy hour.

What a great spot hidden in Beverly Hills! on the same street as many famous restaurants, this one is underrated and def a must try!
It's for great atmosphere and wonderful service with pleasant people that make you feel welcomed.

As soon as we walked in, Bonnie Burns walked us over to the table and as we chatted, she mentioned that it's her brother who is the Chef in the back and can accommodate any dietary restrictions we had. She was so pleasant that it made our experience special. She made us feel like an invited guest into her home instead of a restaurant in the middle of Beverly Hills.

Food was fast and exactly what we ordered without any mistakes. Their salads were enormous and worth every bite. Their sandwiches could feed a small village or one extremely hungry person (i suggest don't share). It's just that good.

Sorry to be writing this,as the owner is such a nice lady, polite & hard working, but was just in there ordered the special brick chicken and it came very average chicken, is being complimentary with about three little potatoes and some oily soggy broccoli and carrots it's all good,  everything doesn't have to be delicious every time but then I got the bill I was outraged & felt taken advantage of for $ 38 for some VERY average chicken, does not make any sense.  I suggested to the manager that  they might want to look at the pricing on this particular item   Won't be back after this one.  I rarely ever and can't even remember when the last time I had a complaint about pricing for anything I'm not that type of guy but this was just a joke

Steak frites. Do it. So delicious.

Honestly one of the best meals I had in a while. Steak frites, some chips with crab salad dip (wow), and a Glenlivet 12, neat. The service was decent too. The waiter was very knowledgeable about all the menu items, and actually gave us some good recommendations.

It's a bit pricey, so keep that in mind when you're making plans. However, you get what you pay for at this place. It's a classy atmosphere too; I wish I wore a collar to dinner.

Will definitely be coming here again... but maybe just for special occasions. At least until I make it big with my record deal for my gangster rap album.

Best Caesar salad ever!  And it came in a work of art...a black walnut bowl hand-carved by the famous Andrew Pierce.  Plus, the restaurant is full of exquisite modern art.  I'm thrilled to have found this restaurant.

Also, found out later that the Caesar salad recipe has been in their family for 80 years.  Light, fresh and tasty.  I had it late at night.  Next time, I want to go early and have a full meal.

Food is so good! Their chicken meatballs are so moist and flavorful! I also love their mushroom pizza the bread is great and the toppings are delicious. I've also tried their biscuits it's a bit heavy but so flakey and satisfying. They also have great seasonal fresh oysters.

This is my favorite new place in West LA!! I cannot say enough good things about Bedford and Burns. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a nice dinner or lunch in the Beverly Hills area - as someone wrote in another review, this is an incredible hidden gem. First of all, the service here is wonderful and all of our food came quickly and perfectly timed. There is also valet right outside that is super convenient (as well as street parking if you can find it!). The ambiance is beautiful but casual.

I came here for dinner with my two friends on a Saturday night and we had the most amazing meal. For appetizers, we ordered the Roasted Butternut Squash and Burrata, the Rosemary flatbread and the Yellowfin Tuna tartare. All three of these were outstanding (see attached pictures!) - I can't decide which one I liked the most. The Butternut Squash and the Yellowfin tartare are definitely must-haves.

I then got the Ruby Red Trout for dinner - it came with Brussel sprouts, cooked carrots, a mashed potato garnish. This was absolutely delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection and the carrots were so yummy. My two friends both loved their main courses - one got the Steak Frite and the other got the seared Ahi Tuna salad.

For dessert, we ordered a Banana Cream Pie, Fudge Sundae and the fruit crumble. Honestly, these were all insane. I loved the Sundae because it came in a deconstructed style (toasted almonds, fudge, whipped cream and Ice-cream) which was fun and made it so I could customize each bite. The banana cream pie was amazing, as well as the crumble. I would recommend each of these desserts!! SO good!

Because I couldn't stay away, we came back here again with my family three days later for dinner gain. It was a big group of us and so I got to try an array of dishes that honestly were all incredible. I am so impressed with how amazing everything is. Some highlights were the gazpacho and french onion soup, as well as the yellowfin sashimi, the Charcuterie (insane!!) and the Italian chopped salad. The lamb chops with a Hong-Kong style sauce were to die for! This is now one of my most favorite restaurants and I would urge anyone in the area to go!

I recently ate here for lunch and thought everything was great, but not excellent, which I kind of expected for a high end Beverly Hills restaurant.

I had the seared cod tacos which were generously full of avocado and overall very delicious, just a little messy. The side salad was fine, nothing special - really just greens in a vinaigrette. My coworkers all had the same experience - good food, but not fantastic. We had the sea bass (she said it was good, but not the best she's had), the egg white frittata (the Brussels sprouts were a bit of an unwelcome surprise - I think they're a bit too heavy for a frittata), and the grilled chicken sandwich (he said the sandwich was good, the side Caesar was a little too wet). The only meal that really got two thumbs way up was the lobster ravioli - my friend literally requested bread so she could sop up the extra sauce it was that good!

I will say our service was really fantastic - the server was really funny and attentive and made us feel very special. Ambiance-wise this place is pretty classy, but not too pretentious - definitely a good lunch spot for people in the BH/CC area. I'll definitely be back!

I went for dinner, which I've been told was a mistake, apparently this is more of a lunch spot. Everyone who goes for lunch loves it, so please take this review for dinner only.

The service is OK, we had to keep looking for our waiter.

The Puree of Market Greens was good. I found the Sea bass oily and slightly over cooked. My husband had the salmon, and he thought his meal was a little salty.
