this is the kind of pizza that makes my mouth water just thinking about it! I honestly don't remember what KIND of pizza it was but it hit the spot right away..
you can order online for convenience and for that impersonal flair that you sometimes want to flaunt. don't be shy!
the last reason you should eat pizza here is quite simply for the name.
love it!!! if this was in my neighborhood instead of Aram's I'd probably be at least 20 lbs. bigger but 80% happier.
I really enjoy the idea of Beauty's pizza.
A) It's not perfection. But it's good. and at times, can be quite good. The crust is flavorful-- sometimes a bit chewy on delivery, and the sauce+topping choices are a solid 7/10.
B) Online everything. user-friendly, never a burden, it's the best of it's kind. A huge fan of this. Though It made me slightly sad for humanity when I realized that in a matter of minutes I resolved a problem with an old girlfriend, bought Return of the Living Dead on DVD, and fed myself with a few well-coreographed clicks of the mouse and keyboard.
Have to give an update on this. I really grew to enjoy there pizza more and more during my drunken delivery calls throughout last summer.
If you like spicy and onion, try their spicy sweetheart, not as hot as they sell it as, but then again 5-alarm chili long ago burned by tastebuds away.

If you need delivery in the Kendall or Central sq area you'll do fine with Beauty's.

Ordered from http://Grubhub.com because we were looking for a quick lunch and I think we found a good stop to be regular costumers. Ordered the BBQ Chicken Sub for myself and the Chicken Parm for my fiance. Delivery was quick and the subs were nice and toasty.
After reading some of the other reviews here - I can't wait to try the pizza.
The first time I got pizza from Beauty's, my reaction was... enh. It took another 2 years before I tried them again, but this time, my reaction was... hey, this is pretty darn good! For me, I have to get their "Specials" pizzas. These are the ones that I really like. My faves are the Quattro Stagioni, Arugula Francesca, and the Margherita Francesca. Extra bonus points for having a really good on-line ordering system.
After a hectic day and just before a night on the town, I needed a quick filler to fuel my drunk antics. I called up Beauty's, asked for two slices, grabbed'em and headed home completely ravenous, only to pop the top to see THIS: http://www.yelp.com/bi...
SERIOUSLY.
They're also the nicest folks ever. While shooting a sweded version of Spaceballs, we needed a solid base for the Pizza the Hutt costume, but nothing we found worked. In the end, I decided to try my luck at Beauty's, not knowing if they'd tell me to piss off or quit wasting their time. Instead, they happily loaded a pizza box with their perfectly floured, uncooked dough and charged us pennies for it!
And the fact is, this kind of loves shows in everything they touch. Check out their lovely website and it's tough to pick a pie, since every description is through and through mouthwatering. Moreover, the online ordering setup is the most versatile I've encountered, letting you select toppings for each side of your pizza. The one topping you won't find on the menu is love, because it's already in everything they make.
It wasn't terrible, but they talked up a big game on the online order form. The "beautiful salad" was totally utilitarian. The "italian style" pizza was totally standard. There wasn't *anything* special about it. You're better off with Cinderellas.
My hubby & I have been ordering pizza from Beauty's for quite some time, so it's about time I wrote a review...
The main thing I like about Beauty's is how fast the delivery is. We always order online, and the food is delivered in about 20 minutes. I love the margarita style pizza, but it sometimes is cooled off too much by the time we get it, so we usually end up just getting the standard "Pizza Americana". It's kind of greasy, but it hits the spot.
When I'm feeling the need for greens I like their spinach pine nut salad. It's enough for at least 2 meals!
One time I ordered an eggplant parm sub, and I got a chicken parm one instead that was all processed and gross. The really weird thing is that my husband ordered a chicken parm sub from them another time, and it was nothing like the thing that I got. But that's the ONLY time I ever had an issue with the food. All in all Beauty's is very good.
One word sums up my experience at Beautys: bland. It looks promising with the thin crust and large selection of toppings, but you take a bite and your taste buds are instantly let down. Sorry, while your brain is saying this will be tasty, your taste buds will counter with "eh, should of gone elsewhere". And we all know taste buds win.
Pizza: Really good! I'm a big fan of their whole wheat crust. Their combos are awesome. I have never tried their side dishes. Their delivery is super fast, and drivers are very friendly. Order online and you can get a small discount--it's not huge, but it's nice to know they have a loyalty discount. Definitely worth at least one try.
The food is OK, not great, not bad. The salads are the only thing that really stand out in this regard, being big and extra fresh.
So this would be an easy three stars, except that they have an online ordering system that Just Works. If I'm hacking gleefully away but my stomach starts to churn, I can order some dinner in a few seconds without even talking to a human. A fourth star for preserving my flow on many a night.
Doesn't look like much from outside, squeezed between a Dunk's and a dry cleaner's, I think, but the pizza is excellent. Delivery was quick. Prices are a little high (but all city pizza is overpriced) and the ingredients were delish and fresh.
A friend recommended Beauty's to me so I ordered a pizza for delivery. I thought the pizza tasted pretty good until I found a small piece of paper in the pizza. Yes you read this correctly, I pulled a piece of paper out of my pizza. I called Beauty's and was told to call back and speak to Michael, the owner. I called back, but Michael wasn't working so I left a message with my phone number. I also explained that I was eating my pizza and found PAPER in it. I never received an apology or offer to return any portion of my money. I never received a call back from Michael. Needless to say I won't be ordering from Beauty's again. If the customer service had been better, I would have rated them higher.
I was in finals about a year and a half ago, and desperate for some good, flavorful, not overly-greasy pizza. I came across Beauty's, and was all, WTF kind of name is that?!
Honest to god, it's a name well earned, for Beauty's makes some damned deliciously beautiful pizza. I highly recommend the puttanesca (sp?), the pizza with the slightly spicy sauce made with capers. The pizzas I've ordered from them have always had fresh ingredients, were delivered timely, with friendly delivery people - although occasionally they do mess up a order (ie, toppings on whole, instead of half).
Beauty's is a terrific little pizza shop located between Inman and Kendall square. It has recently become my go-to slice shop for multiple reasons. Their ingredients are very tasty and they offer whole wheat crust and they even have a mini-parking lot upfront which they share along with MuLan.
They also have a few small things which separate them from the rest of the competition such as the fact that they label all of their pizzas with a special sticker on the box which allows for easy identification. Mock me if you want but it was very practical when we ordered 6 of 'em that one time...
The only thing keeping me away from a five star is the fact that their prices are a little high compared to other shops in the area. But then again, you don't mind paying a little extra for quality, right?
Bear in mind that you cannot sit inside, there's just a take-out counter. But hey, they deliver and are pretty prompt about it too!
I am adding an extra star to Beauty's, thanks to Yelp reviewers. I followed folk's advice and ordered some recommended wonders: Greek Beauty, Pizza Italiana and the special Capicola Francesca. All fabulous. Warm, made with fresh ingredients and very tasty. We learned, tested and avoided the "problem ones"-- the subs don't travel well (mushy bread), some of the salads were uninspiring (a lot of spinach or lettuce, very little toppings...), and a couple of soggy Spicy Sweetheart pizzas (absolutely delicious, but they soaked through the cardboard). The key to a successful experience is knowing what to order. Woo hoo!
Our only regret is that we haven't had a chance to test their frozen yogurt. They've been out of all flavors, but hopefully-- soon-- we can add a nice cool treat to our pizza adventures, as the weather warms up.

Best. pizza. ever.
I'm not of the school of thought that says pizza must be comprised of a giant, greasy New York-style slice. Sure, there's a time and a place for everything, but Beauty's has tasty fresh ingredients, not a lot of grease, and their whole wheat crust makes me think for a moment that I'm eating something healthful.
The New Orleans Cajun Special adds that fifth star to my review on its own!
I have been in search of good pizza in the Central, Inman, or Kendall area for months now and I just found it now in time for pizza and movie night! Beauty's! Wow! The delivery was fast, friendly and the pizza is perfect! It is hot, the crust is just thick enough and the flavors combine perfectly. All the ingredients are fresh and they don't cheap out on the good stuff!
My only complaint is the limited hours. Usually when I want pizza it is 1 am! :)
Thanks Beauty's! I'll be back!
Beauty's is my Cambridge go-to for pizza. The service is friendly and prompt, deliveries are the same, and I've never tasted anything like their 'Greek Beauty.' Plus, the prices are far more fair than the Upper Crust, which I've always considered too uppity anyway.
Enjoy!! Everything on the menu is good :)
Mmm, mmm, mmm! Beauty's has really made my last couple weekends. I've been rocking the liquid dinner far too many nights, which kills my 2am trivial pursuit playing skills. So lately I've been ordering a last minute pizza to extend my drinking and playing hours.
Even if the pizza sucked (which it doesn't) I think I'd still order from Beauty's because they have the nicest guy who answers the phone. He speaks clearly, always says please and thank you and seems happy to be working there. Also, when you call for delivery, they ask the same questions in the same order. Which tells me...they are going to get my order right. And they always have.
The whole wheat crust kicks ass, the toppings are layered well and the sauce is super tasty. The sauce is a bit spicy though, so be forewarned.
"Two very enthusiastic thumbs up! Fine holiday fun!"
Oh beauty's - what happened to you... You used to have the best classic pizzas in Boston - I've been ordering from you from the start - the last 4 times I've ordered from you, I've been disappointed - both in quality and the recent unpredictability in your delivery times, from 10 minutes to 2.5 hours for a pie when I'm 2 blocks away...
And now, this... A kickin buffalo chicken pizza fresh from you - one of my old favs - that's entirely inedible. A mushy ball of goo, that has a taste I cannot describe - but it's neither chicken nor buffalo. But atleast it was here in 10 minutes...
You're the nicest people still, but I feel your pizzas have suffered from your expanding menu or storefront. I hope you get it together, but I wont be ordering from you anymore.
The guy on the phone - ooohhhh the guy on the phone. It's worth ordering from Beauty's just to hear this man speak.
However, I'm underwhelmed by the pizza. The crust has a good texture, but it's bland, and the sauce is spicy but also sweet. It reminds me of Ragu from a bottle. (I've only had the pepperoni - maybe I'm ordering the wrong thing.) Also, the garlic bread is basically a half-loaf of white bread doused in clarified butter with a shake of dried pasta seasoning - pretty much standard fare.
There's so much good "bad" pizza in Cambridge, one pie place for every palate, and this is just not my favorite one.
Beauty's is my go to pizza place in Cambridge, and I've never been disappointed. There have been a few Friday nights when I've had to wait a looong time for my pizza to be delivered, but once it gets to my door I am always psyched. I usually order the Greek Beauty (fresh veggies & feta) and it is AWESOME. Great crust - not too thick, not too thin...just right. LOVE this place.
Still five stars, but I just had to say - this place also rocks it for their oven toasted subs! I have been addicted to the Sicilian sausage sub for weeks now, without an end in sight.
The other subs I've tried are amazing as well... I'm convinced that this place just can not do any wrong!!!

Never before in my life (at least not that I can recall) have I had such fresh pizza delivered to my… Read more »
WOW, i was SOOO excited to try this place out after reading all the reviews here on Yelp. I don't know if I just called them on a bad day or what, but it was a nightmare. The pizza itself was fine, until I took a bite and my tongue felt a firm hair-like strand pulled taut between my teeth and the pizza I was taking a bite out of. Yup, sure enough, as I emptied the contents of my mouth in haste, there it was, sticking out of my pizza between the dough & toppings, a giant, long, thick, wavy dark hair. I don't know how long it extended into the pizza, but from where I took the bite, it was over an inch and a half long- no joke. After I recovered, I called them to let them know about the hair. The guy said he'd send over a replacement pizza (although I wasn't sure I wanted it), but he wanted to see the hair first. So over an hour later, they finally arrive with the new pizza, and would give it to me on one condition- that less than half of the pie was eaten. "but, we didn't discover the hair until after we had eaten most of it! obviously if we had found it earlier we would NOT have kept eating it!" luckily our delivery guy was nice and understanding, and gave it to us anyway, although he had to explain the situation to his boss on the phone (hope he didn't get into any trouble!)
then to top everything else off, they ended up charging us 3 dollars more than our tip-included final price we wrote on our credit card slip.
sooo the pizza itself was alright, but nothing to get excited about. finding the biggol hair definitely didn't help. so although i've had worse pizza, i'm not planning on ordering from beauty's again...
Good solid pizza. Slightly too thin for my tastes though.
Nothing fancy, but the subs and pizza are quality. Surprisingly good presentation for a pizza and sub joint, too, they earn the name.
If you're tempted by the Tech Square Quiznos, it's worth walking a few more blocks.
Two words: Pizza Puttanesca. My husband introduced me to their delicious pizza and we're huge fans of the puttanesca sauce. It's so spicy and wonderful--we've ordered this pizza dozens of times and it never disappoints. I like the thin crusts and the whole wheat option too.
I got the Greek Beauty, and I got it delivery. Maybe the way the 35 degree weather cooled it down from the car to my door really impacted my judgment, but I wasn't all that impressed.
I waited 45 minutes for the delivery, the pizza wasn't hot and a "large" is really a medium. The x-large must be the large...
The crust was a little bland and the sauce was thin and a bit tasteless. That being said, it was loaded--LOADED-- with fresh vegetables, which I appreciated. It's a decent pizza, but I wouldn't order it again. Especially since Emma's is so nearby.
At first I thought, "I'm not ordering my pizza from a place called Beauty's!" It just didn't jive with me nor roll off my tongue. The name actually made me think of CVS. They have a line called "essence of beauty."
I gave in, admittedly from severe hunger.
Anywhoo, their pizza is solid. The dough is crusty and crunchy, while having a solid "7" on the chewy scale (out of a possible 10)... Dare I say their pizza is borderline gourmet-ish?
Prices are on point and you can create an online account. There, you are able to place your order and they will send useful coupons via email.
The icing on the cake? Their drivers are mad cool.
Our buzzer is broken, so we requested they call us when outside. The driver, a cute little old man, called my cell to announce he was outside and we got the pizza no problem.
Long story short, I somehow called him a few days later (by mistake) and asked him (instead of my friend) to go to the mall. He actually said yes! A few drinks and a language barrier can lend to a huge mess. (No we didn't end up going to the galleria for a date ;p)
Anyone who's paid for the telephone code 6969 is a winner in my book.
But you can also add some other goodies:
their big american style delivery pizzas are actually pretty tasty
their cool online ordering gets nerds like Kabir all animated
they gave me a sticker with an Einstein quote about their pizzas. Strange.
This place is definitely a great step-up in the pizza delivery business model.
I am happy to report that the pizza here is as good as Yelp has led me to believe. I ordered a plain "Italiano" with fresh basil and fresh chopped garlic. It was superb, and the whole wheat dough they use does not suck like many other whole wheat doughs. Granted, I ate it fresh, sitting outside at one of their small tables. (Whole wheat dough sometimes doesn't hold up during delivery.)
Also, the guys here are very friendly. They complimented my topping choice and then when I said I wanted to eat outside the guy's face brightened up and said, "Oh, we'd *love* have you eat here." And it wasn't even sarcastic.
I'm definitely coming back.
If you're looking for a good place to get a pizza delivery from in Cambridge look no farther. Beauty's is as good as it gets. With a substantial specialty pizza menu, there are combination sure to please many different tastes. The pizza is crusty and chewy, has a thin Italian style crust, but the chewyness of something more Greek. The pizza's tastiness take a nose dive as soon as it gets cold.
My one reservation: I am always a fan of BBQ chicken pizza, but found Beauty's variation to be markedly unfantastic.
EDIT (a few months later): I take back everything positive I've written about Beauty's. Too many times the pizza has arrived cold (no excuse since I live two blocks away), the curry pizza is gross, the new standard tomato sauce is sickly sweet, etc etc.
I was very reluctant to remove my seal of approval from Beauty's since it was one of the few pizza places in Cambridge that delivered and that I thought tasted good. From now on, I'm sticking to Indian delivery.
Everybody's always excited to get free Beauty's but nobody actually orders it when it's on their dollar. Their specialty pizzas do come in some really interesting flavors, but their overall pizza recipe is not fantastic or anything.
If you're catering an event somewhere in Cambridge and you want a break from the old standby of Bertucci's, order some Beauty's and everyone will be pleasantly surprised. You'll be really popular and everyone will join your club or give you tons of money or whatever. But if you just want some pizza for dinner, call Bertucci's and ask for a Silano and seven thousand extra rolls.
I miss Beauty's....it made living amongst hipsters in Cambridge worthwhile. Now that I'm in Newton, I haven't had the chance to go. They do delivery and you can order online, so I quickly become a regular. They have a great system where, if you're a regular customer, you get an increasing discount, up to 20%.
Their regular pizzas are average, with a good crust and ample cheese. But nothing can compare to their margherita pizza....omg. It's kind of pricey, but it was beyond worth it. You can tell that care goes into these. According to my boyfriend, it tastes better than what he's had in Italy. You get to sprinkle on your own basil, so it's not a soggy mess when you get it. Fresh tomatoes, creamy mozzarella and a perfect crust. ::Tummy grumbles::.
They're also creative with new flavors...the test one pizza goes past its nuclear lab sounding name. The blend of parmesan and other cheeses creates an ooze of goodness.
Their sides, sandwiches, and salads are also good. Most veggie subs are lifeless and filled with iceberg lettuce, but theirs is flavorful. I'd also recommend their salads, especially the one with raspberry vinaigrette.
As an aside, I'll admit that the name did turn me off at first. It's not helped by the fact that it's near Glamourama...competing hair salons, perhaps?
What? Free medium pizza if I register my email address? Cool!
Finally a real use for my 10 junk mail address!... kikoTaco@yahoo, pocho33@hotmail, xixi-butter@hotmail, mangosorbet@gmail, MaiChai@gmail... j/k. o(^O^)o - o(^o^)o
Some cool things about this pizza place:
- delivery
- order online and can specify when you come to pick up.
- free promotional pizza- any of the gourmet or veggie choices you want.
- whole wheat crust available- makes you feel slightly healthier.
Some uncool things:
- blah crust, too thin. Thinner than Emma's. I love thin crust, but Beauty's crust is just bland for me.
- burnt and wilted veggies. The arugula on the Arugula pizza is way too burnt.
- mediocre sauce
............
People say 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder.' But what is beauty and what is truth? For me, Beauty's pizza is cheap, but the truth is it is average tasting (x3).
Between Emma's and Beauty's, I'd say Emma's beat Beauty's in the dust.
wow...delicious pizzas, plus the best eggplant parm ANYWHERE.
and the sweetest guys you will ever meet! I love this place, luckily it is right in my neighborhood :)
In Annie's House.. we are always in a battle between Cinderella's or Chicago Pizza when it comes down to pizza delivery... or so we thought!
One few days ago in a little house in East Cambridge... we researched high and low for a pizza place that would deliver a fresh mozzarella/tomato pie, a plain mushroom pie, two gingerale's and something very artery clogging for the hungover patient... oh and maybe a greek salad too. FatS.O.S
Every place had this or that but never the whole combo we were looking for... so how great was it when we came across Beauty's ..a place we've both eyed many times. They had everything..the ordering process over phone was smooth and plus they came in lightning speed. The still warm and bubbled crust Margherita Francesca even came with a little container with basil. Awwwwww... how unpredictable. The 'Americana style' mushroom pizza was thin and perfect... packaged in an almost stylish (as far as pizza boxes go) cardboard with their personal stickers everywhere.
Everything was tasty. Yummy cheese good quality garlic bread.. not some mince garlic and slab of butter italian roll.
Trust me.. order delivery from here if you are in Cambridge.. since Pinnochio;s and best slice blah blah places would need a pickup. What a beauty.. except the name of the place. Beauty (for pizza, subs and salads??) and the font+color used for the sign. Sorry people but typo snob in me wouldn;t let those details pass right on by without mention.
I know, I know. Three stars. It probably should be five. I have heard nothing but rave reviews from everyone I have talked to about this place, but three big reasons for this:
1. Everyone in past reviews said how fast they were. Even when ordering online, it lists the delivery time as 20-40 minutes. Completely reasonable, if not on the fast side. However, this was not the case. My lonely medium pizza and my roommate's sandwich took AN HOUR AND A HALF. And I'm not the kind of person to call a restaurant to ask where my food is, but I was forced to. The man I talked to was not very cordial on the phone, offering no apology, but that the driver had "just left". (By the way, "just left" means it will take another half hour to drive only about a mile.) Even giving a significant amount of room for traffic/construction/bathroom breaks, this was a little ridiculous.
2. My roommate specified no onions on her sandwich, and it seemed, in her opinion to have "three times more onions than the next vegetable". #2 belongs to her.
3. My pizza was COLD when I got it. Perhaps something to do with traffic/construction/bathroom breaks...?
Whatever. It still was delicious. It's nice to have pizza that feels almost healthy. It almost makes up for all of the beer I'm drinking with it.
we ordered 2 pizza's, Greek salad and ginger ale's, me thinks.
I was hungover (by accident) and needed cheese x a million.
The pizza's were great. I'm not really into small pizza's b/c I like the larger than life perfect Pythagorean triangle slice a large has to offer (size matter's) but it was good nonetheless. The basil was fresh. I really enjoyed their presentation. The sticker's, the packaged bread sticks, the silly quotes by Francis Bacon- that's the stuff that dreams are made of.
Beauty is in the eye of the Be(er)holder. Good job.
