the staff knows about their products. you just ask, for example, what can i use to make my hair curl and keep the dye? And they'll show you all the options, pointing out the pros and cons of each one.
They have great nail color selection, and I must admit I get somewhat addicted during their polish sales (buy two get one free)
Essie and OPI discontinued colors are always on sale, plus they have the new ones too.
I keep meaning to try the salon.

Beauty Store's liter sale is one of the best deals ever. A liter of my shampoo or conditioner is $28 (each). So when it is buy one get one half off, how could I resist? My hair is Exxon oil slick, so I use the conditioner a lot less frequently-sometimes I stock up on double shampoo. I also look at what my fabulous stylist uses and then go to Beauty Store to buy it. So sneaky!

Look at their little gifty stuff too. They also have cute junk jewelry-one of my favorite things. I have gotten favors for a shower I threw (shrinky dink boxers, lipstick shaped pens, and lots of other silly things that were on sale).

I come here for the huge variety of OPI shades they always have. And I like to take advantage of the buy two get one free deal on them as well. I can't speak to anything else in the store since nail colors and nail maintenance tools are the only thing I've purchased here.

I recommend getting their punch card. It's free and after they've punched it out completely then you get a gift card in the mail. It's a nice extra.

Tucked in the corner between a bunch of stores I'll never go into and Central Market, this store is packed to the gills with stuff and chill.

No sauntering in for me...these places make me nervous, I'm no METRO, but old school HOMO, who usually neglects his gay brethren - don't like house music, or gyms, Brad Pitt or the gay haircut, I like sports, my furniture isn't all tricked out...sorry, what were we talking about?....oh...

However, skin is important to take care of when it's waging war against age, booze and Texas sun, so when I go into this store full of females, meekly muttering something about some face bullshit made of Corn Meal, they've never heard of it. Shit.

But by golly will help me find it...like everyone's on the mission..and find it we do... Dermalogica Skin Prep Scrub, they all tell me they've learned something...I blush, I pay...and get out of there.
