This little zoo in Bridgeport is great for small and younger children.  I have been taking my daughter there since she was an infant and it is always a pleasant spring afternoon.  Wrap up a good time by visiting the restored carousal in the enclosed pogada - it is up to $2.00 now per ride.

Note:  All of the prices at Beardsley Zoo are up now; according to the friendly folks at the Barnum Museum the city cut funding for the zoo at the end of 2006 so they are passing the pain on to their visitors.
