Bear and Bird Boutique + Gallery is a beautiful shopping mishmash for the odd types. Upstairs, inside Tate's Comics, run by his wife, this lifestyle boutique is for those who love indie art, have a sense of humor, and a flair for quirky designed products. If you dig Fred Flare, Curiousity Shoppe (in San Francisco), Urban Outfitters, you'll kinda get the feel of the place. They regularly hold accessible art exhibits here where the paintings are *gasp* affordable for us common folks.
Products I love included collectable fake mustaches, Threadless shirts, Harajuku Lovers items, list goes on. For the grown up graphic novel lovers who like to have stuff that fits their lifestyle. I'd totally recommend this place for some thoughtful gifts.
