Pulled pork plate with french fries and cole slaw = yum.

The cornbread is a bit sweet and I like it that way.... and their cole slaw isn't too mayo-y and has a nice tang to it... plus their BBQ sauce is yummy! What more could you want??

The smell of this place from the parking lot makes your mouth water. The smell of this place once your inside makes you drool.

Unfortunately, the food was good, but it didn't live up to its smell. They bottle their own BBQ sauce which was sweet with a little heat on the end.

I had their pulled chicken platter with cornbread, "delicious french fires" and greens. The chicken was really juicy, but there wasn't a lot of it on my plate. The sides were good, but if you go out on the limb to say you have "delicious" french fries, you have to back it up. They tasted like any other fries with a bit of seasoning on them.

Jeff had the BBQ meat mac and cheese. This was good, but they need to take it to the next level. Bake the BBQ meat in the mac and cheese and it would be a 5 star dish.

Delicious!

Thank you Yelp for suggesting something south of the Davey Bridge in Wiscasset (where the inlaws almost died last week, seriously).

The location is  in an area apparently going through a renaissance, so it could be a little sketchy later in the evening, but the actual location is very cute. The service was functional.

The food was delicious. I loved their take on corn bread. A little sweet and a little spicy.

The pulled pork was really good and so was the mac and cheese. Andy's chili looked really good. The beef brisket and ribs wee good too. Juicy and crispy.

The fries were rally good too, a little spicy.

The sauce on the table was pretty good.

The mojito and the russian lemonade were both good.

The good: awesome pulled pork, corn bread and mashed tato's
The bad: mac&cheese and service

I was so looking forward to the Mac&cheese, I mean they do prominently list it on their menu a few different ways. I thought I would be blown away, nope...nadda...mushy with no taste. Took one bite and stopped, why waste the carb calories on mush?

You can tell they get a majority of their business from tourist, they are not accomodating with menu adjustments at all.  Sure we can swap our bun for corn bread....for more money....huh?  this other part of the menu says you have a choice of bun or corn bread....

If I lived here I would probably come here for a quick bite, not lingering and definitely skipping the mac&cheese-maybe it was an off day, but yuck.

There aren't a lot of great take out choices for real food in the area, so this one is a welcome surprise.  Based on our 12 year old friends' insistence, we tried the pulled pork. Absolutely delicious, served on a slab of cornbread and your choice of sides for $9.95.  We forgot to order one of our dinners, so ended up sharing mine with my friend, and it was plenty with mac n cheese & beans.  Served with extra sauce. Cute atmosphere & bar at the location if you eat in.  Worth the 20 minute drive from our Georgetown cottage even if we weren't visiting friends in Bath.

I had a rediculous mac and cheese with burnt ends and corn bread. Wow. Just sticks to your gut. Good BBQ sauce and good times. This is probably the best you're going to get in Bath and we were lucky to happen upon it.

This is one of those places that I have to stop at whenever I am in Bath.  Since there is not much in the line of really good food there, this place is worth the time. Parking is plentiful and easy.

The food is good and service is great.  It's nice to find good BBQ in the middle of a New England winter.  If you stop, make sure you buy a few bottles of their BBQ sauce to take home with you.  My wife and I love it and I try to always keep it stocked.

Big portions, Ok prices, but so-so food.  I am used to Blue Ribbon BBQ in Newton, MA or Redbones in Somerville, MA, so maybe I am applying an unfair standard.

I could swear my brisket was reheated in the microwave.

I would imagine that Mainiacs may feel a little lobstered out from time to time.  But even if you're not sick of seafood, this place is finger lickin' good.  I got the lunch combo with 2 smoked sausages and 2 sides and definitely cleaned my plate.  Good music, a really nice space, and very friendly service... don't forget to sign the guestbook!

The town of Bath suffers from a lack of really good restaurants, except here.  The Beale Street BBQ is THE place to eat.  Pulled pork on cornbread, just amazing.  Large smokers are outside, around the corner of the building, working overtime.  Crowded everyday of the week, open for lunch and dinner, but no lobster-don't say I didn't tell you.  Most definitely worth the wait.
