Had a delicious meal and a nice experience at the Beauty and the Beast themed restaurant. One might gasp at the price tag, but this is a 3-course meal (appetizer, entree, desert) like that of any local upscale restaurant without the theming. Making reservations was easy via the Disney Go App. After being escorted into the dining room and your order taken, the meal starts with a French baguette - crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. I had the Escargot as an appetizer. Juicy, not tough or rubbery, served in a butter cream sauce that was delicious. I even dipped my bread in it. For entree, the filet mignon. It was tender with excellent seasoning. Served with french green beans, and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were excellent - thick but smooth not the typical light whipped one commonly served, and again excellently seasoned. The meal finishes with Dessert, a combo of a tart, chocolate ?, and a chocolate-raspberry truffle - delicious, but this was a bit sweet for all in our party
We sat in the West room. Much quieter than the main dining area with subdued lighting and the occasional thunder and lightning effects. The Beast came out twice during our meal for general photos. Not sure if you could get a personal one or not.
I'd recommend it for those who have the means for that special occasion.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 20, 2024
Best meal we had at DW. Food:
Escargot and bread. Very tasty. The parsley pesto sauce was a bit overpowering, though, tasted on a verge of swampy.
French onion soup. It was super cheese-y.
Filet mignon. So good! And perfectly done as requested, medium rare.
Pork chop. Good.
Desserts - Liked the variety of mini tarts and macarons. Kids were able to "paint" their white chocolate cups. Genius!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1323181539Mar 17, 2024
AMAZING! I didn't have high expectations for Be Our Guest because I read a lot of mixed reviews, however my experience was so great. I was so in awe of the castle and how grand everything looked in there.
The food was really delicious and plentiful. I'm so glad we just walked up and asked if they had availability.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 14, 2024
Be our Guest Restaurant was one for the books for sure! It's located in Magic Kingdom and I believe that is the only way that you can access the building. The ambiance was 10/10! I love Beauty and the Beast and it really feels like you are walking into the movie. The servers really felt like they cared to make it a fun experience overall. The Beast even came by multiple times throughout the lunch. The only unfortunate part was he did the same moves the entire time so if you weren't in the line of sight for his choreographed routine then you missed out on seeing him. It wasn't very personable like the other spots at Disney.
For the lunch, it was a 3 course meal. It was good, but for the price it could have been better. I would highly suggest the French Onion soup! The desert was also cute and movie themed.
Overall I am so happy I experienced this place! I think the atmosphere and service were fantastic, but probably don't need to go back again anytime soon because the food was so overpriced for what we actually got.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 22, 2024
Earlier this month, we took a trip to Disney World and while in the Magic Kingdom, we decided to try the Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Beast's Castle.
The atmosphere is wonderful. Gloomy and foreboding on the outside, while being warm and inviting on the inside. Service is very good and our waitress worked hard to care for our large party. Food is impeccable with phenomenal flavors, and everyone's individual needs and preferences catered to perfectly. Yes, it is expensive, but after sampling multiple restaurants in all the parks, I can positively say this was the most outstanding experience we had.
The Beast stops at every table to greet you, and this was great fun for children of all ages. We can all unequivocally give the Be Our Guest Restaurant five stars for providing a perfectly magical experience.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 13120599Feb 22, 2024Updated review
Have you every wanted to explore the Beasts Magical Castle? You could have dinner here and meet him as well. I love the theming of this restaurant. The grand hall, rose room, and library are just adorable. If you or your little one are Beauty and the Beast fans this would be such a special experience. On this occasion, the Beast just walked around between the tables. He doesn't really stop at your table for individual pictures or autographs like other character dinning experiences.
Regarding food, I enjoyed the duck for my appetizer. The chicken was a little dry and I would try something else. The dessert was so fun especially the gray stuff, it's delicious, don't believe me ask the dishes.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0Feb 20, 2024Previous reviewHave you every wanted to explore the Beasts Magical Castle? You're absolutely visiting for the experience. Beware the prices are high and it's a pre-fixe meal, whether dinner or lunch. We made reservations months in advance, but the day of our dinner rez there was supposed to be torrential rain later in the evening. We walked up at lunch time and they were able to move our reservation, which we really appreciated! The inside is like the Beast's castle and about every 20-30 minutes The Beast makes an appearance, waves, and takes pictures with diners.
There are three main dining rooms and each had a different theme. We were seated in the main dining room, which was lovely, but we were also able to visit the other dining rooms. The Beast stopped by our table and waved to everyone and took a bow. It was definitely memorable. The food was good, not great. You get to choose from about 6 different apps and entrees. The dessert has three small desserts, which was perfect because by the end of the entree, we were all stuff.
I had the French onion soup to start, which was very rich but good. The filet mignon was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was decent. The desserts were rich and had cute decoration. A fun place to visit once! The servers also stayed in character the entire time.Helpful 4Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 1 - Feb 5, 2024
First time visiting Be Our Guest Restaurant, and wow, I'm totally blown away. The restaurant has been well thought out, and it looks like you just stepped into the Disney classic. The restaurant is very clean and kept up with.
There are plenty of choices of food and desserts. I would love to try all them at one point in our visits. The prices are not bad for a theme park either.
The staff were extremely helpful and were able to give us plenty of suggestions and answer all our questions. It is very nice to have staff that seem to enjoy their job and taking care of their customers.
Thank you for such a great time looking forward to our next visit.Helpful 1Thanks 2Love this 1Oh no 0 - Feb 3, 2024
We got a last minute reservation here to finish out our Disney Vacation. The food was amazing. My husband was underwhelmed, but if you enjoy French food or a Beauty and the Beast fan definitely a must.
The decor is breathtaking. The ballroom is like it came directly from the movie. I could have gotten lost walking around. Definitely don't miss the room with enchanted rose!
I was a little disappointed by our waiter. Compared to our other experiences, he was just ok. A manager stopped by and when I shared this she insisted on taking our drinks off our tab. Our kids got free macaroni and cheese since they are both under 3 - and they destroyed it.
Definitely pricey - but it's Disney so just bring your wallet.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - 1359176Mar 12, 2024
I actually really loved this place and the food was not bad! It's a pre fix 3 course menu, so you choose app, entree, and dessert. The escargot and French onion soup were very good, I got the branzino for my entree and it was seasoned quite nicely. Obviously you come for the ambiance of being in beast's castle, but it truly is like being in the movie. Definitely recommend if you are a huge beauty and the beast fan! Our waiter was terrific and kind! However, as per Disney if you do have a res there may still be a wait !!
