I've never taken the time to write a review on Yelp. I definitely feel guilty because I'm so dependent on Yelp reviews!!! I'm excited that I've taken the time to write this review for "Be Fit Personal Training" because they have changed my mothers' and my life!  I first called them because I wanted to continue my health plan and fitness, and motivate my mother who has multiple sclerosis (MS). I first spoke to Jerry (the owner). He provided valuable information for us, and assured me that he, or one of his trainers could accommodate us in the evenings per my schedule. He set us up with "Dino" a trainer who could accommodate our late weekday schedule. (I have difficult work hours and my mother is retired on disability).

We met Dino and our life  has never been the same since. He is amazing. I  never thought that a trainer could actually work with myself (in decent shape) and my mommy who is motivated but completely handicapped. Dino has provided a complete fitness plan and has proven himself capable of taking care of the both of us-simultaneously! It's truly amazing!

Prior to coming to "Be Fit Personal Training" my mother and I worked with an awesome trainer in Hercules, Ca. While she was an equally great trainer (with amazing weight loss results), her style was much more akin to the "Biggest Loser" style of training (i.e, work till exhaustion and vomit in the bathroom if need be). While we still love her, we've learned that a more refined plan for fitness works just as well- if not better. My mother and I wear heart rate monitors while working out and found that we burn equal calories with Dino's schedule (work constantly at our "comfortable " peak fitness level for an hour... to the other trainer). Just different styles and personalities. We LOVE Dino and Jerry. They have changed our lives and we'd love to tell the world. It truly comes down to training preference, and these guys know what they're doing and keep working out fun, creative, and manageable. No two workouts are the same.  I can't recommend them enough. They're  "thinkers" and know that the one size/plan doesn't fit all. I have never taken the time to write a review on Yelp. Meaning if you have questions or anything at all or need more testaments of personal experience, I'd be more than happy to accommodate.

Top-notch training, up-to-the-minute equipment, and educated encouragement to make and meet your fitness goals equals an equation for outstanding results at Jerry Wescott's studio!

Since joining Be Fit last year, I have learned more about mindful eating, completed a half marathon (which I attribute to months of excellent preparation at the studio), and dropped over ten pounds while still enjoying my coffee and the occasional treat! Jerry has taught me how to fit fitness into my life through a combination of self-discipline and personal accountability in my training sessions. It's even fun to sweat and do the inchworms (I never thought I'd say that!)

Each session with Jerry offers a total body workout that motivates me to keep up the momentum through the week. He keeps himself mindful, too, and has shared his personal fitness goals and insights gained through his own experience and the cutting-edge conferences he makes it a point to attend.

I checked out other personal training studios before i chose Be Fit, but the moment I completed the thorough and encouraging physical evaluation Jerry offers I knew I was ready to sign up! He paid attention to my strengths and really listened when I told him about my physical limitations. Such effective and personalized training has boosted both my physique and my self-confidence.

This five-star review really befits Be Fit Personal Training - check them out and see for yourself!

I have enjoyed training at Albany Fitness with Jerry for the past five months. In that short time, I have felt my body change,  become stronger and more stable. The individual attention Jerry gives is invaluable. He really takes that extra time to explain the purpose of the machines and the exercises. I have never liked exercising but Jerry keeps me interested and curious for the next routine. Jerry is gentle and listens. He is firm with encouragement  to push a little further than I am used to  which is exactly what I need in a trainer. Thanks Jerry!

Be Fit personal training is great!  I have worked with Pasha for over two years - starting at another location - and she rocks.  She's not a drill sargeant, (which is great, because I don't respond to that) but she doesn't let me slack off, either.  She's firm but friendly and always pushes me beyond my comfort zone.  She's also great at what she does.  After working out with her on a weekly basis, a nagging shoulder injury that barely responded to months of physical therapy was healed.  That, alone, was worth the money.

All the trainers here are great, friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated.  People of all types train here, so you don't have to worry about not fitting in or being judged because you don't look like you stepped off the cover of a fitness magazine.  I'm a lifelong exercise hater, but I actually enjoy going here (Sshhh! Don't tell them I said that!).  And I'm definitely stronger and more toned as a result, plus, I've learned a lot that I'm able to apply when I work out on my own.  Don't be fooled by the small space.  You will be challenged.  You will leave sweaty and exhausted.  And you will be sore the next day!  Prices are really reasonable and parking is easy.  You can't ask for more.

I have tried gym membership, 30 minute circuit training, workout DVDs, and running with no results. Instead of losing weight I was gaining and then I found BE FIT. I went in for a free consultation and decided to sign up with a personal trainer named Siriji Lamenzo. I have been working out with her for a year and have lost 20 pounds. I look better, feel better, and am stronger. Siriji will work you hard but the results are worth it. She will work on your cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, and nutrition. Our sessions vary, are challenging, and keep me motivated. I am not bored. If you want to see results and stay motivated I highly recommend Siriji you will not regret it. My older sister recently told me I look like a skinny minnie and if you have a sister you know compliments are rarely given. The facility is clean, organized, ample street parking and the trainers are friendly. What are you waiting for....call and ask for Siriji.

Jerry has been a superb trainer.  I had an elbow injury 3 years ago that was no longer in chronic pain, but I wasn't able to participate in activities at the level prior to my injury. I was especially sensitive to re-injury during swimming and biking, having limited my swimming to primarily kicking and only biking short distances.  I had tried acupuncture, physical therapy  and massage therapy and continued to feel stuck on a plateau.  Jerry started the training very gradually, checking in with the tension on the elbow, creatively varying the activities to accommodate my injury and steadily adding more weight training  as I became stronger.  In 20 sessions, I can't believe the difference his training has made.  I can now swim a mile using all strokes and bike pain free.  An added bonus of the varied training activities is that I have much better balance--in just a matter of a couple of sessions.  Its  great to feel strong again--well worth the reasonable pricing!
