BCBG was fantastic. A great range of clothing, shoes and bags. You needed to hunt though items a bit but totally worth the effort.
There were many items at a further 50% off. I found a gorgeous dress but that was at 7.55pm and did not have to time try it on :(
The staff were pretty friendly also.
Worth a visit when at Desert Hills. -

I'm so impressed by Isaac. Really great salespeople throughout the store but Isaac went above and beyond. Thanks again.

I LOVE BCBG. I love their stuff. I love their prices.
The selection here is MASSIVE. Some of their stuff is from a few seasons ago, but sometimes I'll find something pretty recent. But they always have A LOT to choose from - from Generation and Max and Chloe, to Runway and even Herve Leger! Clothes, shoes, bags - it's seriously heaven. They always have lots of sizes, so I never leave empty handed.
But here's the best part - the markdowns. There is often a large part of the store that will be an additional 30-50% off the already reduced prices. SCORE!!! Look for the red signs. The black signage is usually price as marked, but still decent prices (but I always like holding out for the lower prices). -

I brought my niece here today to ease her post-layoff blues with a little retail therapy, and I'm happy to report that both of us left with a little something to make us feel pretty : D.
I got an awesome black and white print belted dress for her, and a sexy little black cocktail dress for me to wear to a super special couple's wedding - that's just around the corner! : D
Statuesque and gorgeous salesgirl Vanessa and her dark-haired cohort Carly were super helpful, bringing us alternate sizes and talking styles with us. They even offered to call and ship out to my niece if a $280 dress she loved went on sale. Nice!
The only thing I have to say is that a couple of their dressing rooms have AWFUL hot spotlight lights that will indeed fry your brain, as it did mine. So choose your room wisely!
A new dress can definitely brighten your day, ladies - and when it's on sale it's even better!
It may even be worth my brain being a weensy bit fried.Listed in: Retail Therapy!

I regularly shop in the BCBG stores and the BCBG outlet in Carlsbad. Occasionally when I make the far out trip to Cabazon, I'll make sure to stop by the BCBG store out here since it has a larger offering of the stuff compared to Carlsbad. They seem to have lower prices and the stuff isn't from last season. They actually have a lot of stuff from the current season .

Despite this place being an outlet store, it carries alot of the styles of the new season. I also shop at the BCBG store in Santa Monica and this one is much bigger. Getting your size can be very tricky here since all the items are deeply discounted. I would suggest visiting often or ask the staff to email you and let you know when new items arrives at the store so you can get 1st dips.

Why are there no mirrors in the dressing rooms? This is so annoying. I don't want to come out of the dressing room every single time I try on an outfit. Each time I came out to look in the mirror, the first woman waiting in line would get all excited and step forward thinking I was leaving the dressing room. I had to tell the person waiting in line that I was not done yet. Also, when you come out of the dressing rooms to look in the mirror on your door, you are literally in the store with people walking all around you. There is absolutely no privacy. All the women and their boyfriends/husbands were staring at me each time I came out of the dressing room. Maybe because I was trying on skin tight dresses? Maybe because my chest was hanging out? Who knows? I don't want people staring at me when I'm trying to figure out if an outfit looks good on me or not. Let's also not forget that the sales girls don't know squat about fashion. When I asked where the "bandage" skirts were, they looked at me as if I was speaking a foreign language. The three of them had no idea what I was talking about. I said, "You know, the ones that look like Herve Leger." They then said, "Um, who's that?" Are you kidding? I was in disbelief. BCBG owns Herve Leger, how could they not know that? I had to explain what the skirts looked like and practically sketch them a drawing. I'm the customer, how do I know more about this than you? And finally, BCBG's return policy sucks! You can not make returns, only exchanges. I found this out the hard way when no one informed me of this policy and I went home and looked at the receipt. I guess I was suppose to read the receipt after I had already made the purchase. Shouldn't they have told me upfront before I handed over my money? Just a thought. I think the return policy and no mirrors are connected. Most women don't want to be subjected to going outside the dressing rooms to see what their outfit looks like. So they buy the outfit without trying it on and instead try it on at home. But if it doesn't work out then, oh well, you're stuck with it.
