Feeling like the automotive industry preys on the ignorance of others, especially young females like myself, I was very skeptical coming to Tony. Thanks, Yelpers, this one's a keeper. Tony thoroughly explains things to me and fairly charges me.
Visit #1: I came in to see Tony when my car would randomly shut off mid driving (good times, let me tell ya). Circuit board shorted, he said. This was an expensive problem- replacing it with a brand new unit would have cost me over a grand on top of labor costs and the diagnostic. Tony worked with me to find more affordable options and solved my problem.
Visit #2: (not really a visit, more like a distressed call). I got in a bad car accident and immediately called Tony to figure out where to have my car towed. He recommended a collision repair shop nearby and called them for me. Car was totalled so they couldn't do much for me, but from what I could tell, they were a good recommendation. I'll write a review for Espana later.
Visit #3: It was time to go shopping for a used car. I had Tony inspect a prospect for me. He called me as soon as he found a major problem with the car and strongly recommended that I not buy it. He then didn't charge me for the full inspection since he caught the issue early on. Whatta guy.
I hope I never move in case I need Tony again.
My family and I have been going to Tony for over 10 years. We bring all of our cars to him and we have several different makes and models. He always takes good care of us and fixes our cars without us having to worry that he's ripping us off or having us get services we don't need. He is the only place we go to for automotive services. We usually do the early bird drop off and bring our car in during the evening. We trust Tony and highly recommend Bayshore Auto.
I've been going to Tony for a few years now, My whole family goes there! He's the best! I will always return to him and only him.
I took my 2000 Jeep Cherokee to him after reading Yelp reviews, and everyone gives this guy five stars for a reason... he's amazing!
He is so nice and offers reliable service without trying to sell you a bunch of crap you don't need. He took care of my car in one day and i didn't have to take out a loan to pay for it.

I took my 2002 VW Beetle Turbo here today to get looked at and unforuntately they don't service VWs with Turbo.
I did get excellent service though. The gentlemen helped me by finding two other places that I could take my car to and that was really nice.
Honest and reliable -- Bayshore Automotive is the real thing. I've been taking my '89 Nissan and '99 Toyota to Tony for many years now. I always get treated fair and square. The work is done right the first time. I first found out about this place through Click & Clack's website. Do yourself a favor and take your car here. You'll be glad you did!

I called Bayshore Automative because there is a problem with my car that none of the dealership knows how to fix. So I decided to bring my car, even though it is still under warranty, to a third-party to solve my problem. I called this place and spoke to Tony. He was very friendly and honest. He told me right off what the "real" problem was and ask me to bring it back to the dealership because it is under warranty. And he told me what the problem is so that I can explain the problem at the dealership. I think tony is very experience, and also very professional.
...if I could give it 6 stars....i would. Tony's a great mechanic. Expect only the best, honesty, integrity, and excellent service.

This place is awesome. The guys at this shop go the extra mile to make sure that you're comfortable with any repairs they have done on your vehicle. I've had a couple of my cars repaired here several times in the past. Good people. Great service. Very honest. I'd go there again.

This is a great place to take your car. Tony is very nice, friendly, honest and reliable. I had to replace the intake manifold gasket on my car and they gave me a very honest quote with no funny business. He had to do a couple of other things to fix the problem -- replacing the covers for the gaskets and changing the oil -- he let me know about the costs in advance and get approval. He also didn't charge me for labor to replace the covers -- only parts. They were also able to fix my car in one day whereas the dealer took a whole day to just provide a quote! Tony is also a member of the BBB and has his rates posted in the office.
I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Ok .. I saw the 5 stars and thought ... No way a mechanic that has 5 stars... I don't believe it.
So I did a little research to get my clutch fixed on the 350z and I got quotes as high as $2500 ... then I called Bayshore Automotive and he met my expectations for a 5 Star mechanic.
He provided me with a reasonable, fair and competitive quote. He was very friendly and once I met him... I instantly I trusted him and the turn around time was incredible!!
No hassle.... no distrust... No Funny Business!!
Real service, real friendly and he gets it done the 1st time!! Tony is FANTASTIC!
It all adds up to a trustworthy mechanic... I trust him!!
I bring all of my cars here and I refer all of my friends to this place.
