We stayed here one night. It was late. We'd been driving for hours. It was right there in front of us.
The room was fine.
The price was reasonable.
The problem was that in the wee hours of the morning, my husband stepped onto the balcony because of some noise or something in the parking lot. He felt something crunchy/lumpy/hard beneath his feet.
The light on the balcony didn't work and the ruckus stopped so he went back to bed. The next morning, at daybreak, I opened the curtains to discover that the balcony was COVERED (and I mean covered) in bird feces. There was even a chunk of bird (feathers and all) plastered to the wall.
Hubby was not happy. We took pictures, spoke with the front desk. The response was: Oh? Sorry about that.
I don't know what I expected.
I contacted corporate and was told that this is a franchise and that they are individually responsible for upkeep and customer service.
Needless to say, I will NEVER stay at another Baymont Inn again.
