Been meaning to write a review; finally remembered to do it now! I have used their service for roach control for the past three years for my rental. I found them on Yelp as well and as many Yelpers said they have great customer service and good service plans. Yelp did not disappint! I called and they set up the initial appointment to come out and check. Once they gave me the quote and plan I signed the contract for an initial visit with a one-time charge, and two follow-up visits with a lower monthly rates. After two follow-up visits I could cancel the contract if the service is no longer required. And that was exactly what I did. So each time they came out, sprayed the areas infested and did that for two more months and stopped. The roaches did not come back so the tenants were happy. About two years later when my new tenants moved in, the roaches came back so I called them up again and got the plan set up. They gave me the same rate as two years ago as I was a returning customer.
Overall I am satisfied with their service and the ladies on the phone, either Mary or Tanya were both very nice and helpful.
I'll definitely call them again when the need arises. -

Great experience with this company!! Somewhere outside my house, we had a yellowjacket nest. They were all swarming around the outside of our house. Originally, we were planning to kill the nest + pests ourselves with a can of wasp & hornet spray, but we weren't able to determine the exact location of the nest because it turned out they were inside our wall somewhere, between the stucco and the interior.
So we decided we needed to call a professional, and stumbled across this company and gave them a call. I first spoke with Mary for the quote and to schedule for someone to come out to address the problem. She sent someone out the next day. He showed up on time within the specified 1 hour window to take a look at the activity. Awesome, showing up on time is VERY important to me and it's not uncommon for a lot of companies/contractors to be late or not show up at all. Big plus for showing up on time, and a 1 hour window at that (lots of companies give a 4 hour window.. too long, IMO).
So he took a look at the area and since it was already quite warm outside, the yellowjackets were pretty active and buzzing. So he said he would come out very early the next morning when the critters are less active, which I was fine with and it is totally understandable because, putting myself in his shoes, I also wouldn't like the chance of being stung.. that would not be fun :( !! That being said, he left and so I was ready for him to come out early the next day.
Just a few minutes later, Tanya called me and said they would be able to have someone come out to address the problem today. At first I was confused.. wasn't I just told that it would be done tomorrow? It turned out that they had another technician available who didn't mind harassing the nest during the day, and they were able to schedule that person to come to my house in less than 2 hours. It was great to be able to have the problem addressed the same day because these damn wasps were coming into the house somehow and it freaked me out whenever I saw one. So they sent another technician out, Cliff, and he was able to find the whereabouts of the nest and applied a special dust to the area. While he was working, I stood inside our enclosed patio to make sure I can call 9-1-1, just in case. It wasn't needed. Cliff was a total pro! I was hoping those damn yellowjackets would all BEE dead within a couple days and sure enough, there was no more activity, hooray!!
My overall experience has been GREAT customer service. All the employees and technicians are very polite and courteous and they know what they're doing. I'd called several other companies to get quotes, and was met with either ridiculously high prices or obnoxiously rude receptionists, so the choice was easy for me. I would definitely use them again! -

About 2 weeks ago I contacted Bay-Valley, based on the high rating on Yelp! My house was infested with fleas - and I do not have pets or carpet in the house. Tonya was really helpful and willing to answer my questions. So she suggested the possibility of the source could be from the subarea. She sent a technician (Jeff) out to check. He checked to make sure there is no animal living inside, and helped closing up our subarea. And then he treated the subarea, and our backyard. He was really professional, polite, and helpful in addressing my concerns and questions.
It has been 2 weeks, the yard is pretty much clean, except we have some random flea s. Tonya sent technician Eliseo out to help using some organic granules for the yard, because I told him my baby was just diagnosed with pneumonia, I do not want to have chemical if it is not necessary. He totally understands. And he also helped setting up baits in my house for ants. He was another very helpful, polite, and professional pest control expert.
The experience with Bay Valley has been great. I am glad that I am signed up for a 1 year contract with them, so I can have my house taken care of. I am grateful to find them on Yelp! -

I just had another wonderful experience with this company and want to make sure you consider them the next time you have a need for an exterminator. Excellent customer service from Mary who will take all the time you need to fully understand the behavior of ants, mice, rats, roaches etc. My mother's garage was recently visited by a rat or two and the thing that they did that was above and beyond in terms of service was calling the HOA for her and telling them that there were areas under her roof eaves that needed to be closed up. That call saved my mom the repair fee as now the HOA is going to do the repair for free. Bay Valley may have lost a repair fee for patching up some holes but they earned a whole lot of brownie points from me including this review.

Talked with Mary today to set up my initial meeting and subsequent service! They were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and great to work from. I have to agree with My N. and T L. and say the service was incredibly awesome. They also offer discounts to people who use yelp and reference it.

Five stars and some!
My motto is "Customer Service is everything" and Bay-Valley Pest Control epitomizes excellent customer service.
To start, we moved into our brand new home (that we absolutely love) over the summer so when a trip brought home some very unwelcome pests, Bay-Valley answered the call AND delivered!
Around noon, I called six different pest control companies to review rates and ask questions. Naturally, everyone was away for lunch so I left messages. Bay-Valley called back immediately. Typically when it comes to returned calls, I am pretty patient but since bug bites were covering my body and giving me hives, I wanted to rectify the situation ASAP.
Three other companies returned my call the next day, another the following day, and I never heard back from the sixth company. On top of superb phone manners, Bay-Valley had the best prices and was at our home the very next morning! (Side note: they wanted to come that day but we needed time to "prep" our home.)
Not only was Bay-Valley sympathetic to our pest problems, but they were also extremely thorough and their follow-up services cost practically nothing (in comparison to what the other pest control companies wanted to charge).
All pests have been banished from our home and we haven't had any issues since...but if anymore unwelcome visitors come knocking, there is only one pest control company that we would trust to do the job with excellence - Bay-Valley Pest Control in Campbell! -

wow. i'm writing my first-ever Yelp review. what a great company. instead of coming out and trying to sell me a ton of services, Cliff spent an hour at my house.... only to determine that we don't have to worry about carpenter ants.
what a pleasant surprise to find someone honest, caring and knowledgeable. and he even found how the mice were getting into our house and fixed it.
i would highly recommend them to anyone with a pest problem. -

I have pantry moth in my residence for some time. i have gone to home depot to buy the lure and such but they have come back this year.
These damn creatures are driving me INSANE!!!!!!!!!!.
i finally gave up and started looking for a pest control place to get rid of these damn pests. I hate pests!!!
I called this place and the lady was extremely helpful and patient. I wanted to pay a company to come and kill my damn pests. she listened to my story and gave me step by step detailed info on what to do to get rid of the damn moths. I appreciated how she gave me the solution but still would feel better if i had paid someone money to get rid of the pest. i was on the phone w/ her for almost half an hr and she answered all my question and even made it clear that she wanted to save me money than have their guys come out, tell me the same thing and charge me a hundred or whatever.
all you pests, die you annoying pos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bay Pest Control is an excellent company to work with. They are incredibly nice on the phone and the folks they send out are even nicer. Ron helped me carry my cats to my car since everyone had to be out of the house. Then he made sure everything was locked, since I had to wait outside with the cats and baby.
They do explain a lot about the pests and helped answer random questions I had about home remedies I read about on the internet. I compared them with Orkin and Terminix and their prices were about the same, but I liked that it was a small company, compared with a national chain/franchise. I'm only bummed that I forgot to mention Yelp to save 10% (leftover pregnancy brain).
We haven't seen a pest since they came by either! -

We called Bay Valley Pest Control this Spring (2009) after a year-long(+) battle with 2 very large ant colonies in our backyard had come to an impasse. The products I was buying at OSH just weren't working (even at multiple times the suggested concentration), and the ants weren't surrendering willingly. We had done an annual contract in the past with Terminix for general indoor/outdoor bug control, and we weren't looking to go down that road again in terms of the results we received for money paid.
Upon calling BVPC, I immediately got a good feeling from my conversation with their representative on the phone. She clearly had a level of expertise in dealing with pest complaints that surpassed any other company I had spoken with that day. She even correctly predicted the source of my ant colony!
"Do you have a citrus tree that borders your patio?"
"Yesssss...." And *bingo* - that's right where the mothership was found when the technician came out.
They did an outdoor-only treatment of the colonies and their trails even though we had a fairly significant number of the little buggers finding their way inside the house. Within no more than 3 days, all colonies outside were dead and no further ants have been seen in the kitchen since (2 months ago as of this writing)!
The best way to describe these guys are like cancer surgeons - they go in, find the problem, target it specifically, and eliminate it without wreaking havoc to everything else in the surrounding area. No foggy clouds of toxic pesticides being blasted all over the property killing who-knows-what, no dangers to our 2 beloved dogs, and they are some of the friendliest service people I've ever met!
This is a company that deserves 6 stars if there were such an option. I would recommend them without hesitation to any friend or family member of mine, so I have no qualms about giving them the top rating here on Yelp! -

I walked into my kitchen one afternoon to find several wasps buzzing around in it. Not fun! After checking Yelp, I called Bay Valley. The staff answering the phone were very knowledgeable about whether the infestation was wasps or yellow jackets, and what would be involved in solving the problem. She managed to set up an appointment for the same day, and the tech was even a few minutes early. After looking around outside, he found the problem: wasp nests in the vents on the roof. He treated the nests on the roof plus a few others around the eaves of the house. However, a few days later the wasps were still coming into the kitchen. Luckily Bay Valley offers a 30-day warranty on wasps; they will come out and take care of the problem again free of charge. Again, I got an appointment with a tech the same day I called, and the staff called me to let me know that he would be a few minutes late. This time the tech treated the attic as well as the vents on the roof and I haven't seen a wasp since. I was impressed with the professionalism, courtesy, and promptness of the service, and the price was reasonable.

I strongly commend the two ladies who answered my numerous questions over the phone -- Mary and Rosemary. I felt bad that sometimes I took a good half hour of their time, but they were so patient and answered my questions with great knowledge and details.
I had a small issue with the technician's first visit, which was not caused intentionally. After mentioning to one of the ladies, I could tell that the technicians came later were told to watch about it. One of them, Ron, was especially helpful and shared quite a few tips with me.
It could be difficult to run a company and maintain high quality of work, but I think Bay Valley has delivered. More importantly, they certainly have the will to do it right! -

They have the best customer service!
People at the office were claiming they saw a mouse/rat running around the ceiling. I called Bay Valley this morning and they were able to come out within the next hour! I was amazed how fast they got to the office. Cliff was very nice and climbed up into the warehouse ceiling where he found a dead mouse. The office space is a new office we're renting out so the mouse could have been there for a while. Cliff didn't find any signs of a mouse or rat. No droppings of any kind. I'm glad it was a false alarm but felt bad that Cliff had to come out to find nothing. There was no charge and he even disposed the dead mouse for us! -

I called here after I started to lose control of my yard and house to an ant and cockroach problem. I had a massive infestation of biblical proportion.
This company is great. I called to get a price quote and they took the time to talk to me about my bug problem. Sent someone out the next day. The guy they sent out was very courteous and professional. Took time to explain the different treatment options. He was very thorough and knew what he's doing.
Within hours of the first treatment, I have seen no ants anywhere on the property or cockroaches.
Highly recommended. -

My husband received a call the very next morning after I posted this! The folks at Bay Valley Pest Control were very apologetic and scheduled another visit with us as soon as we were available.
They sent out Cliff - who was wonderful. A very nice guy, who did an amazingly job, including climbing under our house and dusting it in addition to spraying in the house, and the entire property very thoroughly!
We haven't spotted any fleas outside in the "trouble areas".

Customer service like this is very rare nowadays!
I called Bay-Valley Pest Control after reading the reviews on here. We had an issue with ants in our - nothing too serious, just enough to annoy the wife. So when I called they told me what they usually do - spray, bait, dust, etc. I thought great, the problem should be resolved in no time. Once they came, they realized I didn't have the regular house ant. but a "pharaoh ant" which needed to be treated different. Basically you can't spray - if you spray you'll just break up the colony. You need to bait them so that the colony is destroyed. Anyway, they set up a few baits. I was hoping they would do more but I understood that they couldn't.
However, since this is a service and not a one time thing, I kind of wasn't sure what they were going to do monthly. Just put bait? I could buy the same baits for about $1 each. So I called them up before my next scheduled appointment. I explained the whole thing to the lady on the phone and she said she understood my point but that she still wanted to see if there was something else they can do for me - so she called the owner and said the owner would show up the next time and help me out. So the owner, Cliff, showed up and said that he was here to give me some more info and some more baits... NO CHARGE! He was really understanding about how I didn't want to pay the $50 monthly to just put some baits down and said he was just here to make sure I was satisfied with my experience with them. Wow, now that is customer service. I would totally recommend this place. -

Wow, talk about customer service! I just spoke with Mary today explaining how I thought I had bed bugs and wanted someone to take care of them.
Instead of just ignoring my complaints and just setting up an appointment, Mary took the time to carefully listen to my symptoms and worked with me in trying to figure out what was biting me (She didn't think it was bed bugs and didn't want to just charge me for sending someone out when a can of aerosol spray may be all I needed).
I am very very impressed!! Not only by how extremely knowledgeable Mary was about pests, but how helpful she was in helping me figure out what pets I had without even setting up an appointment to charge me for the help! -

Bay Valley Pest Control took care of a rat problem for me. Very prompt and professional. The first guy (Duane?) was pretty good. The second guy (Ron?) was fantastic -- extremely friendly and honest. He charged me less than the quote Duane gave me when the job turned out to be easier than expected, and gave me tips on DIY fixes.

They appear to be more interested in selling repair services than more mundane things like monthly control service. Disappointing. I called seeking placement of mouse bait boxes to control mice in a garage; in prior properties this has been very effective. But they only wanted to determine what repairs could be made. I'm guessing that monthly trips to resupply bait boxes just arent' profitable enough for a truck roll.

Wonderful service. I had what I thought was a wasp problem, and I called to see what I could do about it. The person on the phone, Rosemary, was extremely personable and helpful, advising me to try and observe flight paths to find the point of entry. I called back an hour later when I had a better idea, and she promised to get a technician to my house the same day. She called me back about 30 mins later to let me know that the technician would be at my house in 15 minutes. No comcast 4 hour window here!
The technician's name was Jeff and he was very professional. He quickly realized that what I had was honeybees, not wasps, and after poking around, he told me that it was a dying if not already dead hive, and that I didn't have to do anything about it. After his consultation, he wished me a nice rest of the day and he left, refusing to take money for the consultation.
Basically, I feel that this company has outstanding service, professionalism, and integrity. I would highly recommend them and if the bees ever do come back, I plan on calling this company. -

I had them come out to take care of some very aggressive carpenter ants. Great customer service, very friendly over the phone and in person. They were promptly on time for the appointment. Treatmetn was effective and torough.
The only negative is that they try to get you to sign up for a monthly maintenance plan (not always necessary). Prices we a bit high, too ($60/mo for the maintenance plan).
