Best pizza in Kitsap. Great beer selection! need I say more? The pizza style is what I would call american. It is a balance between super thin newyork style and fluffy doughy chicago style. but very well done, the right amount of grease, crispness, doughyness, cheese, and ingredients.
The beer...
They usually have one of each major type of beer on tap as well as many bottled options aswell. also they have wines. and the staff know their beers too :D
I think the only downside here is that it is 21 and over because its a bar, but really that's not that bad because it also cuts out the sometimes annoying high school crowd.
really the even bigger downside here is that I hesitate to review this place because I both do and dont want it to get more popular....because I like getting a seat and a pizza and beer ;) -

The beer selection is pretty good but it is not a place to go and learn about beer on a regular night. I asked several questions about the beer - none of which were answered by the bar tender.
The pints are well priced but if you are branding yourself as an artisan beer place, you should really know something about the beers.
They pizza was ok. It is better than some of the others I have tried up here but not great. I asked for basil on top and they did not have it - really ? no basil on a pizza?
I think I will go back - you can get a signal there so you can quickly punch up some info from beer-advocate - Maybe the staff will learn something too! -

Great pizza, although second the reviews that mentioned the time, it feels like they are milking the cow to make the cheese, etc. Nice selection of beers on tap, as well as mixed drinks upstairs.
I did have a weird experience once, I had turned 21, but my license was still the kind that is sideways (they did that here in WA for licenses issued to under-21's as a quick way for bartenders to know to take a closer look) Anyhow, I had this sideways license for a long time because i had lost mine and had to replace it when I was 20, and they last 5 years. So people would sometimes do a double take at it until seeing the that my birthday was legit. At bay st though, the waitress was trying to tell me that since i had a sideways license, it didn't matter what it said, she wasn't supposed to serve me. She gave in finally, but having that conversation felt like i was taking crazy pills. -

Port Orchard, WA
On my first visit a few months ago my husband and I had a night out for beers and pizza--- it was wonderful-- I felt like the pizza was made with love-- actually maybe one of the best of my life- it was the bay street blue- loved the toppings and the sauce- blue cheese was perfect- not overpowering at all, just a hint of blue cheese taste. This time, we ordered to go- a ranch chicken one-- blah- not very good at all- and it felt like maybe it was better when we were there watching them cook it-- it was kinda slapped together and just mediocre- I didn't NOT like the ranch- just like a glob of unflavorful white sauce in ur mouth- yucky! So for $25 a pop- I don't know- prob won't go again

Port Orchard, WA
I love Bay Street. Amazing pizza (their other foodstuffs look DELICIOUS, too!), great beer selection... but usually agonizingly slow service. And a finicky credit system which has required cash only on a couple of visits, but who doesn't like trolling for dollars on a rainy night? It is a little spendy, but oh so good!

I just don't understand. Moving from San Diego where everything is overpriced I thought moving to Port Orchard would be easier on the pocket, but not with prices like these. A pitcher of beer, a pizza, and a 20% tip = $50. The beer was good, pizza okay, but point me towards little ceasars hot and ready.

My favorite place! Best micro brew selection around. Awesome pizza. Employees are great. I recommend this place to everyone.

Still a five star place for me, but this time it's because of the food. Pizza was fantastic when I had it and thankfully I could order it by the slice (win one for my diet). I had a jalapeno, tomato, and mushroom pizza that was layered, spicy, and fantastic. Later that week I went back for a brewers night (great beer BTW) and had a Veggie sandwich that was also great. Warm, tasty, full of flavor, and the best sandwich I've had since I stopped eating meat.

Great little bar with ever-changing selection of region craft beers on tap. Good pizzas, with a moderate selection of other decent food thrown in. Staff is friendly and helpful. Tuesday nights are $3 pint nights, great deal on real beer.

Port Orchard, WA
We used to go here a lot but have gone less and less over the last few years mostly due to ever rising prices and the dinginess of the place. The whole place needs to be remodeled and/or updated. As to the beer, DH loves the choices but not so much that it's less than cold most of the time. The food used to rock but the last couple of times we've had a pizza, we've noticed it's not as good as it used to be, particularly, the Bay St. Blue. It used to ROCK but doesn't have the same taste as in the past. Wonder if they are tinkering with the ingredients to save some $$$? Anyway, we go a couple times a year now and that's probably enough. Hope they can update the place one of these days.

Kitsap, WA
good beer. kind of dingy (which is usually ok). too expensive in my opinion though. expect to pay seattle prices. this kind of bugs me. i dont really have a problem paying a little extra if the place is nice and the food is awesome, but this joint is mediocre at best, and therefor overpriced.
like i said, good beer.
im sure we'll try it one more time. -

Port Orchard, WA
THE BEST! seriously, this is the best pizza i've ever eaten, it's worth the drive to port orchard. This is a bar, so don't expect a fine dining experience. They have a great selection of unique beers, have one while you wait for your pizza...or three because it takes a while! If your starving and can't wait, choose a different night to go, on a busy night a pizza can take an hour (they have a very small kitchen) and sometimes even on a slower night you've got about 1/2 hour. They do take call ahead orders though, so that's an option. Worth the wait for sure!

I absolutely HATE bars but after spending a lot of time working in downtown Port Orchard this place has become like a home away from home. It's got a great working class vibe to it, a welcome change from all the meat markets out there. The staff is awesome, the food is awesome-- especially the pizza-- and they have tons of beers on tap. The owner is an awesome cook and they prepare almost everything from scratch right down to the pico de gallo on their awesome chicken nachos. Real people eating real food drinking real beer. I'm for it. $3 pints on Tuesdays!
