When I moved to Jersey, I was a little scared to change salons. I mean, Jersey has a reputation for hair, right? :)
All kidding aside, I checked out Bauhaus Gallery at the recommendation of a friend who used to be a stylist. She knew Louis (owner and stylist) and suggested I give his service a go.
First impression walking in - really cute! Very clean, comfortable and well designed. There's a real feeling of family here. The stylists and staff are all smiling, in good moods and the vibe was really positive.
My stylist, Louis, was really wonderful. I am one of those patrons that like to let the stylist do whatever they feel is best. I went ahead and jumped right in and told Louis to "go for it and play." After all, it's only hair! I know a lot of you would probably beg to differ and I'm sure Louis and the staff of Bauhaus Gallery would execute your needs and ideas perfectly. I just like to see what the stylists ideas are. They are artists after all.
Well, I've returned a few times since and am very happy with the results. The designs that Louis comes up with for my hair are always chic and elegant. I really enjoy visiting him.
Best haircut I've had in years, & the stylist was not afraid to challenge my assumptions about my hair. Slightly more than I wanted to spend, but worth it.
there's nothing better than having a high-end haircut without a stuffy or artificial atmosphere.... and kudos for the always-fabulous art!
