There are a few parts of this hotel that are very deserving of a 4 maybe even a 5, but there are some parts that detracted from the overall experience so I just can't give it the extra star.

Location - right off the freeway, so expect some freeway noise.  I live by a freeway so kind of soothing for me.

Parking - if you come late expect a decent hike.  Not as bad as the Philly Airport Renaissance but it can be a trek if you have bags in tow.

Lobby & Check In - Nice lobby area, check in was easy, quick and painless.

Room - Decent sized, newer linens and bed.  Desk area and tv with quite a few channels.  My room felt lackluster.

Bathroom - this is where a large portion of my complaints fall, had this been better I would have probably raved about this hotel.  It too was dingy and felt institutionalized.  I like to take a bath at night to ease the insomnia, it was not cool to have paint peeling off of the bathtub and into my bathwater.  The bathtub had a yellowish circle around the bottom.  Scratch the evening bath off of the list.  Gross.

Concierge Lounge - This was A+.  Great selection of food and drinks.  Honor bar.  Love the lady working there, super personable and easy going.  She makes me want to give a better star rating.

Gym - decent amount of machines and cardio equipment.

Room Service - can take awhile to get to you and charges a pretty heft service fee but leaves room for additional tip.

Additional Info - wireless and wired internet - $9.99 a day.  Kind of hefty when Courtyard gives it to you for free.  Better than the Renaissance $14.95 though.

Overall the hotel is nice, alright so I loved that they remembered my extra towels and pillows.  Plus they left me my special treat with a note on my arrival.  Ahhh the comforts of having Marriott status.

I prefer Hilton's because the rooms tend to be newer or at least more recently renovated.  That said, this Marriott is A-OK.  The rooms are not as old an may Marriott's I've been too.  It's clean and the beds are comfortable.  The service is good, free breakfast and lounge for Marriott Rewards members.
