Lame, crappy flavors (although copious flavors - 31 allegedly, though I didn't count) and no cookies and cream.  What. The. Heck.   They DID however have several things that resembled fluorescent Play Doh. Speaking of fluorescent, the lights are far too bright in there.  Yuk, a craving I should have ignored.

I like baskin robbins.  I like their mint chocolate chip, mocha almond fudge, and very berry strawberry.  Ooh, and their ice cream cakes.  When I was a kid, my mom used to order those cakes for our birthdays.  When I was thinking of ordering a cake recently, I went in to check the prices.  Dude!  For a cake?  With ice cream?  That's pretty darn expensive.  So I passed.  Then, when they had their Reese's peanut butter sundaes special going on, Jeff ordered one because he likes peanut butter.  This is what the girl behind the counter did:  She took 2 gob-fulls of peanut butter from a jar and dumped it on top of his ice cream, spoon and all.  It was so gross.  I couldn't believe he tried to eat it.  Why would you eat straight peanut butter when you're out for ice cream?  Oh, and we gave them our coupon for buy-one-get-one-free sundae.  (I love those coupons).  The girl behind the counter had no idea what the coupon meant.  It took about 5 minutes for her to understand that we weren't supposed to be charged for the second sundae.

TYPICAL CHAIN STORE . . . TYPICAL, TYPICAL, TYPICAL.

Nothing new. Good ice cream. Lots of choices. Milkshakes, sundaes. Ok prices.  Fast service. Teenagers serving. Same old. Same old.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY EVERY BASKIN ROBBINS ACROSS THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IS STAFFED EXCLUSIVELY WITH TEENAGERS? I HAVEN'T SEEN AN ADULT IN A SINGLE STORE  . . . EVER!

AND WHAT HAPPENED TO THE "31 FLAVORS" IN THEIR NAME?
DO THEY ONLY HAVE 29 FLAVORS NOW?  
WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?
