OK so it's Baskin Robbins, not exactly top-notch ice cream, but not the store brand either.  I grew up eating basking robbins so some of the flavors have that nostalgia factor.

Just yesterday my sister was teasing me about how I uesd to order Daquari Ice as a kid.  In fact, the last time I got ice cream I ordered Daquari Ice.  She says it's not a real flavor.  I like it.  Go figure.

But this location has paticularly good customer service.  It's usually clean and they send me coupons.  I like coupons.

Ever notice how weather has no effect on people's desire for ice cream? Ah the power of comfort food. The last few days have been wacky. Sunny, rainy and now sunny again and the people getting their scoops in didn't change a bit. Since it is currently sunny I stepped in and got a small cup of my favorite pistachio almond (the 31st of the 31 flavors). Fleeting moments after I had ordered and grabbed for my wallet, my server Shannon had it waiting on the counter for me. Holy crap she is the most efficient one person serving team I've seen in a while. She deserves recognition and if she stays in the food service industry, she's bound to be able to make some bank at a high end restaurant somewhere. Order to Pay to Enjoying Ice cream in the Sunshine = 2 mins tops!
