Basil Thai Restaurant

It's been many yrs since I've ordered from this place & now I remember why! I know times are rough but geez, their food portions are ridiculous small! I mean, they could've add more veggies into their angel eggplant. The flavor was good but for this portion, it's not worth $15-$16! It didn't even fill up in my small bowl. Pad Thai was decent but tofu was bad, had a weird taste & it was hard. Curry fried rice & curry was good.
Overall, definitely not worth $80.

Hands down best Thai in federal way. Heck, best FOOD in federal way. This place is a takeout savior and I can always count on it for fresh, quick, delicious food. I always get the 5-star spicy chicken pad Thai and it is consistently amazing quality. Quick service, friendly smiles, great food- what more could you ask for?

We had takeout fried spring rolls and Panang chicken. Can't wait to try this place again!

I've gone here multiple times and love it!

The food here is always well prepared and very flavorful. I have ordered multiple types of curry, but my favorite to get is the panang curry. The portions are generous and the consistency of the curry is perfect (it isn't too thick or thin, so it is soaked up by the rice well without having too much rice or curry left over to achieve this balance). I've also ordered the spring rolls and would definitely recommend them.

After trying here, it's become one of my favorites if I'm craving Thai food.

I have yet to eat inside, but the dining area is well decorated. I always order carry out, and love seeing the layout and decor. It feels cozy inside with cushioned seating and warm toned decor. The counter for the register as well as for fresh food to be set out is wide at the center of the restaurant and we'll organized. It's never been too busy inside, but it makes it nice and quiet when I visit.

The food is also always prepared pretty quickly for takeout and hot/fresh.

We moved near here in September and we have ordered Take Out here at least once a month since living here and it's always delicious! I get the Pad Thai, TomKha soup and fried rice. Always fresh, hot and good!

They are my Go To spot for ordering a quick To Go meal for dinner when I don't feel like cooking.

Went back food was amazing, and the dish was made how it was intended! Definitely a great place to go for Thai food or takeout!!

Food is ok. Unfortunately, if the teenagers are taking your order for takeout, check your food before you leave. I guarantee you are missing something!

So glad to have found good Thai food in federal way. The crispy garlic chicken, and Pad Thai are our favorites.

Visiting the Federal Way area and have to say this place was amazing!! The service was great and the food was fabulous! I try to visit Thai restaurants in different cities as much as possible and will say this is one of the best yet. Mark it down as a must visit!!

We're happy we went here! Wife and I was looking for a Thai restaurant that we've never been to and found this one that was close to us. I looked up the reviews and decided to give them a try. The veggies were fresh and the flavor was excellent! There was a generous quantity as well and we took some home to eat later. Overall we were happy with our visit and will likely go there again.
