OMG, this apartment complex is loud!

The pros:
. great location
. washer/dryers in the units (hard to find in Austin)

Cons:
. the noise!!!!!

So you can either get an apartment that faces a pool/courtyard area and stay awake to the sounds of underage kids drinking and partying at the pool. Or, you can have an apartment that faces the parking lot and strip mall behind the complex. Once you fall back asleep from a neighbor blasting rap music at 4 a.m., there is the lovely sound  of dumpsters being emptied at 5 a.m. then dropped on the concrete at the strip mall. But wait! there's more, the lawn mowers and leaf blowers arrive around 7a.m.

These apartments are not for light sleepers.

However, if you can get past the noise, the location is great and when I needed to move-out  mid-lease the management was very understanding of my situation and worked with me to come up with a solution that worked for everyone.

That's a whole lot more than I can say for Austin Landmark Properties.
