I work in Moorestown so we go here mainly for lunch.
The food is delicious. There is a good variety of pasta and sauces. There is also so much more than pasta. Great salads and sandwiches, risotto and desserts all provide choices for italian fare.
i recommend the veal and gnocci ragu in the cooler seasons, and i generally go for their seafood related dishes when it gets hot.
the service is excellent and you can bring your own wine to leave there since it's a BYO. they have labels and lots of space to store your vino for the next time you dine.
all in all, great food at fair prices.

Barone's is family-owned and has several locations, some which have been sold since I was last there in February. They serve Italian cuisine. A friend and I went to the Moorestown, NJ Barone's which was easy to find, right inside a cookie-cutter shopping center.
Weeknights this place doesn't get crowded so the hostess was able to seat us without a wait. We sat in a rustic villa-ish dining room (it's an Italian restaurant, so that fit the theme nicely). I can't remember any music playing. It was freezing outside; there was a drape in the front to shield against the draft as folks walked in.
While we perused the menu, we were given complimentary bread rolls with oil. Their menu offers appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and pasta entrees. Their pasta section has many kinds available (I picked penne) and then one can choose a sauce style (I chose bolognese, a flavorful homemade meat sauce). I asked for crushed pepper on the side for tang. We didn't wait long for the food and it was tasty! My friend enjoyed her dish.
Desserts are NOT made in-house. I remember being told that Bindi desserts were served here (a good thing, if you like desserts). In any event, we opted out of trying a dessert there.
Service was fine. Compared to places like Maggiano's and Olive Garden, Barone's seems expensive but the serving sizes are quite large. Recommended for above-average Italian-fare for what it is, where it is. (4 out of 5 stars, leaning towards 3.5)
