Last weekend it was the meeting of the folks.  Her parents, my parents, us.  We showed my parents their cape house, we visited where our reception is ( Dennis Inn ) and designed the menu for the wedding.  We swung by the church to check it out, then we went for brunch/lunch.

The outside patio was nice and it would be great to eat lunch there outside during a nice day, but it was raining.  The inside was pretty cozy and comfortable and while it was empty, it looks like it would be suitable for a nice dinner as well as taking the kids out for lunch.

I had the ham & cheese omlette and tea.  My fiance and my dad had the french toast, my mom the pancakes, and her parents had a tuna sandwich and the bbq chicken.  The service was mediocre, and the mom-in-law-to be had to wait about 10 minutes for her sandwich.  My omlette was ok, because it was very buttery.  The toast was dry, but the homefries were awesome.  The other cool thing was you get a little ( like 10oz ) teapot and a selection of tea bags to choose from.  The downside is that the mugs are something like 5oz.  My dad said the coffee was good and my mom and the lady both said their food was good.

Menu Selection: Very Good
Price: Good
Staff: Fair - Good
Cleanliness: Very Good - Excellent
Parking: Fair - Good ( we parked on the street, not sure if there is a lot )
Overall: Yeah, if I was in the area again.

Good old standby of mine for lunch.  Sandwiches and pub food are always good.  The clam chowder is above average.  I had the special squash bisque yesterday that was amazingly cozy, warm and comforting.  There are several local beers on tap.  The Cape Cod Red was cold and bitter, just the way I like it.  I haven't eaten in the main dining room for years, so I can't comment on it for the time being.
