Bark! Bark! has been so good for my Winston, he has become better with people and with dogs. I truly believe in the Power of the Pack, the dogs in the pack actually "school" the dogs on how to "Be a better dog". In nature, there can't be an unbalanced dog in the pack, it will hurt the pack, so it is in dogs' nature to make sure the pack is in balance. That's why hanging out in a social environment like Bark! Bark! is so good for dogs, and it's also tons of fun!! The staff there love dogs, and it shows. After a day of play, Winston is tired, happy, and hungry. Overall, he has more self confidence and he is great with strangers now, and new dogs he meets on the street. Winston has gotten some fantastic haircuts there, they do a great job with grooming. The prices are really affordable, and daycare has become an important part of Winston's life. He has his favorite friends that he looks forward to seeing, and I don't have to feel guilty about leaving him home alone. Bark! Bark! Doggie Daycare. What a "Pawesome" concept!! XO! PS They also will board your dog for you, but I cannot comment as I haven't used that service. I can tell you Danielle and Vivien are really experienced dog people and I am certain all dogs woud be in good hands with them.

I don't have a dog as I can't afford one right now. Once I get a job and find my own place will certainly get a dog and knowing that everyone is giving good reviews is very unbelievable for me to say but until I see what need for the best of my future baby's I'll take all of your words for it. I've been bringing my dog, Simon, to Bark! Bark! since last Fall. He was suffering from horrible separation anxiety anytime I had to leave him home so I needed a solution for him.
Originally a downtown customer, Simon loved the place. One day, he got a little ahead of himself and jumped out of the car before I got hold of his leash. I freaked out, of course, as he ran ahead of me...until he went right into the vestibule of the dry cleaner next door. (Give him a break. He can't read.) He clearly knew where he wanted to go. He would also go right to the gate and wait for them to take him back.
Since they have opened the Signal Hill location, he has been going there as it is much more convenient for me. Now he starts whining in excitement on Willow. He is so exhausted after a day at Bark! Bark!...I know he's had a great time. He is usually knocked out in the car on the ride home, as opposed to non-Bark! Bark! days where he refuses to settle down.
I like when they are able to take the time to post photos on Facebook during the day. Simon is always a ham for the camera. And I'm able to see what fun he's having.
The parking downtown can be frustrating, especially during prime time. But now that we go to Signal Hill, it's not a problem.
My only complaint is that their hours are a little restrictive for me sometimes...I stress-sometimes. I occasionally have need to drop him off earlier or pick him up later. But most of the time the hours are just fine. I try to plan accordingly knowing their hours and it's usually not a problem.
We have only done self-groom, so I cannot comment on the grooming. But I do find some of the reviews saying that the owners, Danielle and Vivian, are unfriendly (or worse) somewhat suspect. I have never, ever found them unfriendly. From day one, they were personable and welcoming. At first, they seemed a bit finicky about getting Simon established. But, if you think about it, that's what keeps all of our pets healthy and safe. So, can you really blame them?
What's more is that they truly know all their customers and their pets. If something seems off about your dog, they will notice. I brought Simon to another day care in Long Beach, and I'm fairly certain they would never have noticed if something was wrong with him.
I highly recommend giving Bark! Bark! a try for your special pup. I'm sure they will love it and isn't that what matters most? -

I can't say enough good things about Bark Bark.
The owners and staff are knowledgeable and are always excited to see my oversized pup.
I've been taking my dog there for a year now and he still wags his butt whenever we get close. He just cannot wait to get in to romp around.
Because the old Long Beach location is smaller, your dog will enjoy walks with the staff throughout the day. This was amazing to me, since my dog used to be a little (but very strong) monster on leash, yet I've never heard a complaint from them.
The new location is my go-to doggy daycare now. I've taken my dog to other doggy daycares/boarding places, but Bark Bark is the only daycare that my dog comes home TIRED and not smelling like urine from.
The only downside about Bark Bark is that it is not opened on Sundays, and the boarding space is limited. However, Vivian (one of the owners) told me that they are currently working on expanding the boarding facilities! So for now, call early to reserve! -

This place has the best care for our girl! She goes in a dusty mess and comes out like a shiny new penny. They are extremely accommodating but better yet - her grooming is always perfect. Not a hair out of place.....

Long Beach has plenty of dog groomers to choose from, but my pup and I happily drive past them all to get to Bark Bark.
when i initially brought my puppy there for his first grooming, they took their time and really made sure he enjoyed the experience and wasn't traumatized out of coming back. poor kid let them do everything except the haircut. they let me bring him back 2 days later... so they could do the haircut for free. they did a great job with him, but what i love most is that they cared so much about how he adjusted to it all.
haven't brought him there for day care yet, but just from observing, i know their facilities are always clean, there is always someone in the room playing with them, and the dogs are brought out periodically to use the grass. they look well taken care of.
great service, great staff, great bang for your buck...
...and i looooove the way the place always smells!! i wanna bottle up that scent and take it home. -

Bark Bark brings all the dogs to the yard...
That's right! This place is amazing! I rarely give 5 stars but I have to say, Bark Bark delivers!

I've been taking my dog to the digs for a year now and yes, I'm just writing a review about them. I wanted to make sure I get the overall picture and get the full experience so that my review is honest, sincere, and accurate.
I rescued my pooch from Hearts for Hounds and he was a bit skiddish when it comes to people and other dogs. After being at Bark Bark for 3 days, my dog has completely changed. He's more social, playful, and loving... It's nice to see my pooch get all excited when I ask him "Do you want to go to Bark Bark?" That tells me this place is THE BOMB-DIGGITY!
So, my pooch, Fred knows where he needs to go and where Danielle and Vivian are at when we first walk in... His tail wags so much sometimes, I'm worried he'll break his hip! He loves that place...
I'm very picky on who can touch my dog... I get very personal with Fred's vet and anyone else that takes care of him. What can I say, he's my baby!
One word to describe Bark Bark = AMAZEBALLS!

The BEST service you can find for grooming your dog! I had taken my dog, a maltese-poodle, to a groomer on 2nd street in Long Beach and they butchered her. It took them 3 hours to finish and they cut her too short and uneven. So I was in search of a good groomer. When I first saw Bark Bark on Yelp, I was kinda skeptical of the 5 star reviews from everyone. So I decided to find out for myself. I called to schedule an appointment and was fortunate enough to get a slot for the following day which happened to be the day before Thanksgiving. I walked in and was greeted by their staff and was able to personally meet the groomer and she kindly asked what i wanted for my dog. I told her that I wanted all the knots out without having to cut her too short. She assured me that it wouldn't be a problem and that they would call me as soon as she was ready. An hour and half later i get the call and when I picked up my dog she looked better than I expected. She wasn't cut too short and all her knots were gone. And she smelled FRESH!!! They gave me a 10% discount for being a first time customer and I was able schedule her next appointment. Absolutely GREAT service from a FRIENDLY staff and they know how to take care of your dog!!

I have been utilizing the wonders of Yelp for years, but never got around to creating an account until just now. I'm finally signing up specifically so I can share with my fellow dog-lovers about the incredible facilities and people at Bark Bark. This place has been nothing less than life-altering. I can drop off my two pups and know that, by the time I pick them up at the end of the day, they will be singing the Dirty Dancing song lyrics "Now I've... had.. the time of my life... I never felt this way before..." and staring back longingly at Bark Bark as we drive away. Thankfully, this means that after my long day at work, I can take the boys home and know that they've had a fun and fulfilling day, too.
My one dog, Toby, is an 8-month old puppy with an awkward mix of energy, playfulness and shyness (weird, I know) and the wonderful people at Bark Bark welcome him happily with open arms every time he arrives. Bark Bark is, without a doubt, his favorite place on earth, as demonstrated by his mere 25 pounds turning into the strength of a Husky as he drags me towards the Bark Bark facility from the parking lot.
My other pup, Jake, is a mild-mannered senior - reserved and sweet. He's a rescue and lost his canine "brother from another mother" earlier this year. I feel such relief from knowing that he gets the opportunity to interact and play with lots of other dogs each time he goes to Bark Bark.
The facilities here are clean and welcoming. And the owners and staff are, in one word, tremendous. It's not always easy to hand over your beloved "four-leggeds" to just anyone, but I really feel like at Bark Bark, my doggies are in good hands. Also, their grooming services are incredible. Very fairly priced and I have never seen my doggies looking so darn dapper as they do when they get groomed during their special "spaw" days at Bark Bark.
The icing on the cake came a few days ago when I dropped off Jake and Toby and was given their hand/paw-made daycare crafts from their last visit - Christmas ornaments with their paw prints on them! I absolutely melted. I haven't had the fortune of having any human children and therefore, haven't, until this moment, experienced the joys of receiving these special kinds of hand-made gifts from my "kids." What an incredibly thoughtful gesture by the people at Bark Bark.
I cannot recommend Bark Bark highly enough. If I could give them six stars, I would. -

I just love BarkBark!
I have a moody little guy that is old and blind, so he's not the best customer. The BB groomers are patient and accommodating and have yet to kick him out for his shenanigans. They listen to my sometimes specific instructions and handle it, no questions asked. Prices are fair, the staff is sweet and considerate. Ultimately, they just want the pets to be safe and happy. Daycare is also available for your social pups that make friends easily.
Bottom line, my monkey is a grouchy ol' man and they are still sweet to him. He comes out smelling like blueberries and with a cutie little necktie that make him look like a (cowboy) mack. WhatcanIsay? Bitches love him. -

Being first time dog owners, my partner and I searched high and low for a good grooming/daycare business in the downtown Long Beach area for our puppy Lola. We had asked around to some friends with pets and they suggested we check Yelp to find a place! And that's just what we did. In addition to finding Bark! Bark!, they were also offering a 10% off deal if you mentioned that you found them through Yelp. When we contacted them to find out more about their services they were very clear about what vaccines she needed to have and their temperament test for daycare. Not only were they extremely friendly, but they genuinely thought our little pup was precious and reassured us that we would be happy with the results of her first groom. Lola is a small Chihuahua/Westie mix (5lbs) and is weary of strangers. But the ladies at Bark! Bark! were wonderful and she came out super cute with a handkerchief and bows strutting like she runs Long Beach.
We highly support local businesses and have become quite personable with the owners Danielle and Vivian, and Angela their top groomer. We have recommended them to all of our friends with dogs and they have all been very pleased with their services as well.
Thanks Bark! Bark! for your awesomeness! We will continue to support you guys 100%!

I've been told by some Yelpers, who will remain nameless, to write my first review. What a better place to do it than saying what an awesome place Bark! Bark! is.
My breed of dog is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, how you groom them is special. Without telling them, they knew exactly what to do! I dropped Abby off at 7am and although she was going to stay for the day and wasn't prepped for the daycare, they took care of her 100% while she spent the entire day there. When I came to pick Abby up, she looked absolutely fabulous and happy with bows in her ears. She was all dolled up to meet her potential new family the next day.
The staff was amazing and wonderful, gave me a great discount since I'm a volunteer for a rescue, for which Abby is. Even without the discount their prices are great! If I get other dogs I will definitely bring them here! -

I predominately take my puppers to the Bark Bark in Signal Hill, since it's closer to my house and the space is larger, but he loves this one just as much. It's a great option if you need some sitting in the downtown area.

Bark!Bark! rocks. My dog goes there at least one day a week. It helps with her socialization, exercise, and gets her out of my hair from 7AM to 7PM. Great service and wonderful staff.

Great friendly place to take your 4 legged family member to get groomed! Friendly staff and quick service makes this place stand out. Very affordable (only $45 for the full treatment for my dog). My dog was traumatized when I took her to petsmart. She was happy when I picked her up after her first groom here.
Only thing is the lack of parking but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

My dogs Charlie and Bebe come here all the time. Their pictures are even up on their wall. They absolutely love it! Every time either me or my fiance come in, Bark! Bark! treats our dogs like family. Everyone is extremely friendly. They all like to be updated on what's new or why Bebe isn't wearing his shirt today, little things like that. They still find a way to be updated on what's new while Charlie is screaming to go inside. He feels the need to announce to all his friends at Bark! Bark! that he's there.
I absolutely love this place. I've mainly talked to Vivian and Danielle and they both are amazing! Vivian is now at their recently opened new Bark! Bark! at 2655 Saint Louis Avenue in Signal Hill ;) She's definitely missed, but Danielle is just as friendly.
The place is clean and they keep an excellent eye on all the dogs. My dogs have also been groomed here a while back and they couldn't have looked better or been happier.
I would definitely feel guilty for going anywhere else besides Bark! Bark! My dogs love it and so do I. I have no problem referring people over here. -

My dog Kona has been going to Bark Bark for over a year, and she is not an easy going dog that goes just anywhere. She loves it there!! The staff is amazing, the facility is always clean. She literally pulls me to the door ( I wish she does that when we go to the vet :)). If you love your dog, and you work full time, do your dog a favor and put them in Bark Bark. You won't regret it. Your dog will come home tired and exhausted from a busy day, just like how you are when you come home from work.

Nothing but great things to say about this place. I can always call any time and they are very flexible with drop offs and pick ups. I leave my baby (Praline- a mini poodle) there knowing that she is in the best of hands. I love her bows and her little bandana scarf that she comes home with everytime. The patterns are always up to date with the seasons/holidays.....so cute :)

I love this place. The girls not only care about each and every dog but they are so knowledgeable, it's pretty much insane. Love the atmosphere and vibe of the shop - they keep it very clean and fresh and it always smells great.
My dog always leaves his grooms soft, fluffy, and happy. When I drop in, the daycare dogs are always playing and having a blast. I'm kind of jealous actually. :) -

Bark! Bark! is a great place to take your dogs for daycare! I've been taking my girls there for maybe 2 months and am in love with it. The owners are always there and super friendly and always willing to make you feel comfortable. They really understand dogs, and for me that's crucial to running an off leash doggie daycare!
I actually work at a dog boarding facility and day care, I love where I work but I wasn't able to take my dogs to my job. So, I think I am even more picky when it comes to where I wanted to leave my dogs, because I know the ins and outs of the business. So I can say from experience that this is a great place with great people looking after your dogs.

I love this place! When I worked in Downtown LB, I took my dog here a few times when I knew I was going to work long hours. He had so much fun playing with the other dogs and would come home tired and happy!
Today I took my little guy here to play for an hour because of the rain! The owners are really nice -- great atmosphere. -

The first and only time My experience with bark bark Was not friendly at all The girl at the counter Who I've noticed upon entering Was on the phone When I approach the counter She told the person on the other end of the phone To hold on Then she asked what I needed When I begin to explain She did not give me time or day To help me Her phone call was more important This is how they run their business Very sad.. I would never take my pet someone who does not take care of their customers because of this type of person just lost a customer

Being one of the Original Customers and a Regular at Bark Bark, not just for Daycare, Grooming, but also over stay boarding, I would have to say my husband and I have not been more happy and more relaxed knowing that our two little barker brats are taken care of. Both the owners, Danielle and Vivian have become a God sent for both of our Silkies, along as a blessing to me and my husband. They are truly amazing, passionate, responsible and honest owners that enjoy every minute of their jobs. Our dogs are more well behaved, are excited at just the mention of going to "Bark Bark" and are exhausted coming home. Truly a spectacular place and look forward to continue every service provided by Bark Bark and their owners......Your Lifetime Customers and Pets =)

Ive been hearing and reading good things about Bark Bark and I have to say they came through for me at the last minute (on a Friday no less) and managed to squeeze all three of my babies in for a bath and cut and I know they're a handful Their cuts turned out beautiful! Now they look so adorable for our weekend doggie date! Thanks to the wonderful staff at Bark! Bark!! I'll definitely be using their grooming services again and possibly some day care. Very professional and super clean store with lots of great services. 5 stars on this one :)

I honestly can't say enough good things about Bark Bark. I work a pretty hectic schedule and it is great to know that my dog is with family when I can't be around to take care of him. The owners are amazing and you can tell the staff really loves the animals they take care of. Bark Bark has been a a life altering experience for both me and my dog. Thank you Bark Bark!!

Word of mouth for BarkBark is awesome and there is a reason why - these ladies take great care of your dogs. I tried them based on recommendations of other dog owners in my building and WOW were they right. They are flexible, caring, reasonably priced, and my dogs can't wait to get inside each time which tells me they are treated fabulously. Thank you Vivian and Danielle.

Thank Heaven for Bark Bark! We have four dogs in our house hold , so looking for grooming has been a challenge for us. We just went to pet smarts being they were the obvious and closest choice. At pet smarts I never felt satisfied from them and I felt like I was robbed for the services I paid for. Finding Bark Bark has opened our eyes to what great service should be. It is a great friendly place and very informative on doggie care. The groomers do a great job they actually come up and talk with you and discuss the cut and services they will do. Best part is , they actually do it ! They provide affordable rates for full grooming treatment. Out of our four dogs we have tried two and so far its two for two.

Our precious angels were having some trouble socializing, rescue dogs, and we were tired of the judgey dog park people turning their noses up at my dogs hiding between my legs....so we thought a couple days of day care would do them some good. They were so scared the first day I thought it would never work but the second day, and every day since then, it has been a 180 change. I just want them to be happy....... and this seems to be doing the trick. The ladies are so welcoming, friendly, knowledgable and patient. After overcoming the jealousy of my babies loving another woman I get more proud of them every day. I highly reccomend this place for any dogs that have to spend time alone while their parents work to pay for the chew toys. They even offer different services..some paid and some not....that just will ultimately make me a better parent. Thanks BARK BARK.

I took my dog here a few weeks ago, and they were excellent. I called, dropped her off right after I got off the phone and picked her up about 2 hours later. It was my first time taking my dog to the groomers so I was kind of nervous for her. Her fur was pretty matted so she needed to get shaved down all the way. Her groomer seemed nice and friendly and so did the lady at the front desk. They even put bows on her ears and a handkerchief around her neck which I thought was a nice touch. She was shaking her head a lot when I brought her home and I'm not sure if its because she can feel hair in her ears or if she just feels free from being almost bald. When I showed my dog to my boyfriend he says "what happened to the fur on her ears?" and I said "what do you mean?" and then he says that he thought that they're supposed to leave the long fur on the ears and I guess he is right. The fur on her ears was not matted and I assumed that they would not shave it because I read that they already know the specific cuts for each breed so I didn't say anything to them when I brought her. Other than that, the service was perfect and they do give a discount for mentioning yelp.

Brand new place opened up downtown Long Beach for all you pet's needs. Great wholesome products and the staff are great (they also carry Merrick). They will be hosting cat and dog pet adoptions and have a lot of information about being a pet foster parent. It's a brand new small business and so far.....we are really impressed with their business; give them a try!
