It's a smallish place, with fixed booths, a pool table, and a few movable center tables. On the Thursday we were there, the place was not packed, but the center tables were occupied with two people at each 6-person table. The staff wouldn't consider asking couples to move to the booths to accommodate our large group, so we stood for much of the night. Eventually, one of us had the cajones to nudge them aside a bit... and we took over. The bar provides a short, but okay beer list. The food was... well... there. Curly fries, nachos, Buffalo wings. Nothing awful, nothing memorable. --Drink Club NYC dot org is a roving group of NYC drinkers

Watching game 5 by myself in my room, i get a call that they're watching at Barfly. Sweet. People i like to watch the game with! Even if the bar sucks, i'll have fun drinking with them.
Ewww. I didn't like this bar. And i feel bad dissing it because the service was good and the drinks were good. I say ewww because of the atmosphere and crowd. First of all, this guy had so many horrible selections on the jukebox so that killed the mood a bit. And the crowd just wasn't my thing. Not young and cool. We finally took control of the jukebox, i drank more, yet my team lost. Still a good time with good people. I'll do it elsewhere next time. Fo Sho

This is a great towny bar for me. The draft selection is quite nice, the music is always really good - mostly blues, the prices are right, and the staff is AMAZING! The staff is worth going for alone. But it's a really comfortable place to hang out, shoot pool, have a good conversation, watch the game. It's great.

Great, roomy bar with one of the nicest bartenders I've ever come across. Did you know that the Bass logo is the oldest trademark on record? Okay, I don't even know if that's true, but I don't care - the conversation was good, and for once I was hoping the bartender would swing by for chat more often!
Drafts were $5, which was fine with me, and they had a decent selection of the usual suspects.
Just had a really nice time, and will definitely be returning to watch some sports on one of the numerous TVs and maybe even chat it up once more...

Came here for Football Saturday. They have many tvs so your game's bound to be on one of them (if its aired) and if you're not getting a good view from where you're sitting, you could request that they switch the game to the tv that best accommodates you.
very friendly servers here. its your familiar low-key neighborhood sorta bar. there's also a pool table at the end of the room. the food's just your typical bar food, nothing great. its hard t o get a booth here - i was eyeing the booths the whole time ready to jump at the first one available. First, because there are only a few, second, cos the people here tend to stay for a while

Surprisingly good, somewhat expensive bar food coupled with normally priced beer and sports, its a clean, nice bar that is great to go on a weekday to catch up on sports and have a brew. The bartenders are chatty and nice. It has plenty of tables, so you can bring a couple friends and sit down to eat, and they have an outdoor space lined up so you can sit outside during the summer.

I love this place. If I lived closer I would be there more often. Lots of TV's, seating, pool table and a jukebox. What else could be better? I have been there during the day for a meal and at nite time for pitchers and pitchers of beer. The service has always been good, and during the summer it is nice to sit outside (when it is not completely gross and humid outside).
Restrooms are private rooms, stocked most of the time. Sometimes they have the talking billboards in there so beware. 4.5 Flushes
