Excellent Place To Grab Lunch
I stop here every time I go to Kauai, even though I am not a "burger" kind of guy. The burgers are so awesome they'll keep you coming back. I really love this little place. The staff has plenty of aloha and you can get a really great tasting sandwich, fries and drink for about $7. I recommend the Loco Boy. The meat is cooked just right with a nice fresh bun and fresh veggies. The fries are great too. They have ample parking in back and on the street. Locals and tourists alike dine here.
LOVED their chicken katsu combo and for 8.50 is was a great deal. We ended up coming here since Wrangler's isn't open on Saturday for lunch... Chicken fingers were a hit, burgers were devoured...
I love their veggie tempura.. it is a meddley of veggie strips that are battered to perfection...
a spot to check out when in Waimea area
Not a bad place.. in fact one of the only places in Waimea downtown to eat at.. downtown is only a block long so their aren't much places to eat at..
I can assure.. that their burgers are quite good.. and most people grind them up like there was no tomorrow..
They have a huge menu of items to choose from ranging from 10 types of burgers... to plate lunches
The prices are decent.. so dont let the outside decor scare you.. this is a legit food place that has legit local food.. run by legit local people..
Now you dont have to drive for miles if you are in the area.. you can come and eat there..
Unfortunately, Barefoot Burgers is no longer in business. A loss to Waimea. It was nice to have a burger option in Waimea. Now we've got another boat tour company in it's place. Guess it's off to Mickey D's for a burger. Blah.
