Couldn't agree more with Tom R. Barak Realty was so deceptive that I was forced to file a formal complaint with NY State Dept. of State on 7/24/09. A Barak broker signed our names into a no-fee building by mistake (she was waiting at the wrong address!) with neither our presence nor consent; a building which I already knew about. Two days later and moments before signing a lease directly w/ the mgmt company the broker attempted to block the process and claim my otherwise one-month-free incentive as her fee for "showing" me the apt. (adding insult to injury, she didn't even know the rent, let alone building name or amenities). I've lived in NYC for years, moved a few times, and know how the process (unfortunately) works - but this broker was deceitful, unethical, and simply incompetent...

Established in 2000
In 1994, Dunayer arrived in New York City from his native Israel, with nothing more than $3,000 in his pocket - hardly enough to survive an entire year while he attended the very prestigious Juilliard School. He soon pursued his MBA to explore other avenues where he could apply his work ethic, his quest for perfection and his leadership skills. He discovered real estate.
Located in his tiny studio and armed with product knowledge, a winning smile and pure tenacity, the deals started to close one after another. After one and a half years of success, his wife Yael joined him to grow the family business.
Today the same family-owned firm is now located in its own handsome floorthrough office space on West 72nd Street at Broadway. Continued expansion is high on BARAK Realty's agenda with confirmed plans to open another office in the Upper East Side in November 2009.
