Just an hour and a half outside of Boise and about twenty minutes away from Garden Valley is this little Cafe and Store (and River Rafting outfitter).

My girl and I ended up eating here after our rafting experience (which was also very fun!) and were more than pleasantly surprised by the food served here:

Onion Rings - hot and fresh - these were DELICIOUS with their onion ring sauce.

Chili Burger - a 5oz burger with tons of chili. You won't be able to pick this guy up since it's covered in chili - but it's delicious! Especially with cheese and onions ($.50 extra). It comes with your choice of sides - I got the tots and received an ENTIRE basket's worth. Amazing...

Chicken Tenders - They definitely use fresh oil around here... the chicken tenders were large, hot, and tasty!

If I'm ever staying around the Garden Valley area again, I'd definitely drop by for some food. The two places we tried in Garden Valley itself - the Terrace Lakes Resort Restaurant and the Dirty Shame weren't so great foodwise (mediocre diner food at the first, frozen pizza after 9 at the latter). Yay for fresh fried foods! =)
