again I wish there was a zero star!
so here's a little story. my fiance an I had just received a check from Fidelity which we needed to cash to put a down payment on our condo. long story short ...we needed to get the money asap to get the condo. my fiance has been a customer at this bank for over 20 years AND she worked there -at that branch-for several years. we asked if we could get the check cashed and posted and explained to the teller the importance of this. she said that they would have to put a 90 day hold on the check. since my fiance worked there before she knew this was a bunch of bs. she has been an outstanding customer and never once has bounced a check or otherwise. she knew that they take care of their customers...or at least back then they did. back to the story. we asked her to try to get approval from her manager. we explained the story to the manager who said the best she could do was 7 days. I had enough and went to my bank -wells fargo. I asked them and explained the whole story above. I got a no problem we just needed to set up a joint account. guess what? the money was posted and ready within 5 mins.

I've been using this bank since I was thirteen and had babysitting money to deposit on a weekly basis. Everyone at this branch is so friendly, they remember your name - and since all my immediate family bank here - they remember to ask about my dad or sister anytime I go in. They still offer fresh coffee, have a good amount of parking space, and there are two convenient ATM's (one drive thru, and one walk-up) at this location. I absolutely love the friendly personal service, and the minimal fees that Bank of the West provides.
