my home bank. Well, not really. My actual home bank (the one whose address appears on my checks) is on Hoover or Jefferson or some such street back near USC. I opened an account years ago... but I digress.

This one has been my home bank for several years since I moved into my current brent'hood - and I love it.

I can waltz in on a Saturday to buy a roll of quarters (for the wash - or to thwart muggers) and enjoy looking at myself on their CCTV system. Small price to pay for no Plexiglas...

The ATMS are top rate; there's an old one on the far right that isn't even in color! Can you imagine?? The other two are color; I don't like them as much.

There's free 20 minute parking underground. Just walk up the stairs (or take the elevator) and you're there! Oh, and the best part? There's free parking for like ten cars (or massive SUVs) right out front. And, if you tell the parking attendant you're going to the ATM you don't even need a parking claim check! Wow, how "local" is that?

If you want to spend some of that $$ you get out of the ATM, there's a Souplantation, Noah's Bagels and random coffee shop in the same strip mall. Suck on that Wells Fargo across the street!
