My favorite Chinese/Indian fusion restaurant in the area. Fried rice is actually made with Indian basmati rice, and it is wonderful. Vegetarian options are delish.
Bamboo Garden is an excellent place to go out with friends/family over the weekend. The ambiance is great, although it can be a little noisy sometimes.
One of the best places in town for Chinese food influenced by Indian spices. Lot of options for vegetarians as well. The wait-staff is attentive, fast and courteous. The only downside is that they do not take reservations on the phone and there's usually a15-20 minute on Fri/Sat.
The 'Crispy Chili Babycorn' and 'Burnt Garlic Chili Fried Rice' deserve special mention.
Overall, a 5 star place for me!
Some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. Also, there is a round turning table on top of the round tables, so you can set down dishes of food and spin them over to other people, to share. It's basically awesome. Many vegetarian options. The tea is a must. So is ice cream. Highly recommended.
I went here with a friend because we wanted to do the "Indo-Chinese" cuisine. Indo-Chinese is basically the chinese food that you get in india. It is nothing like what typical chinese restaurants in the US serve. Nowhere close to PF Changs or any other I know. I got a good table by the window. The decor is average, seats are comfortable, maitre d was pleasent and helpful. The menu is long and the variety is good. We ordered Sweet corn chicken soup and manchow soup to start with in addition to Pan fried Paneer and Potato chilli. Paneer did not taste too fresh even though the spice was good. For the main course I ordered chicken chilli. There was enough chilli in it! but the taste did not titillate me. Lots of spice and chilli but no great flavor. I would still go there once in a while. I guess you dont have much choice if you want to eat "Indo-Chinese".
