The Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor is short walk from Camden Station and a slightly longer walk to the Inner Harbor. Check-in is usually speedy except when you're stuck behind a large group.
The concierge lounge has cold cuts, sliced cheese, scrambled eggs, assorted pastries, cut fruit, cereal, bread, yogurt, and assorted drinks for breakfast. In the evening, they have two hot hors d'oeuvres, a cheese plate, and desserts.
At the end of one stay, I'd forgotten a pair of tennis shoes in the closet. The following week, I called and within two hours, someone dropped by with my shoes in a Marriott plastic bag.
TV reception wasn't the same quality in all the rooms. Sometimes, the TV would be fine, and other times, the TV would be snowy. While I was there, they were doing maintenance on the elevators so there were only two working elevators. During peak times, you could look forward to a packed elevator, long wait or both.
The gym has three elliptical machines, five or so treadmills, and a weight machine. There's a water dispenser, cups, and hand towels but you might want to bring your own water bottle. My friend preferred the gym at one of the Sheratons.

I really wanted to give this place NO stars when I first got there this past weekend. We arrived in the ridiculous heat around 2:30pm, and just wanted to lay down for a while before the baseball game, and they said our room wouldn't be available for an hour to 1 1/2. wtf? Annoying.
Ended up being okay, room service food was actually really good, and pretty fast. The room was clean, bright, and good sized. They need more elevators, we had to wait every time.
VERY convenient to Camden Yards which was excellent since we were not about to rent a car. A few restaurants near the hotel, but you have to walk at least 3-4 blocks or so to find shops and most eating options. Not a long walk normally, but in the 100 degree heat, it was pretty unpleasant.
The Marriott Inner Harbor is a nice hotel for a fairly good value (comparatively to the other downtown Baltimore hotels). The interior is modern and clean and the hotel is actually scheduled for a renovation soon.
Everything else is better than average, but not 5-star. The hospitality staff are friendly and try, but it's just not quite there yet. The concierge lounge is nice, with a good variety for breakfast (although no hot eggs/bacon), and happy hour/desserts. Location is walking distance to the Inner Harbor area and across the street from the Orioles stadium, Camden Yard, but as a lone female traveler, I wouldn't want to be walking around the area much after dark.

The hotel was very comfortable, even in the midst of renovation. Construction noise could be heard in the middle of the day, but ended well before evening.
The cafe and bar are fine. The Starbucks/convenience store makes a sugary mocha. The concierge lounge breakfast is decent. The only major negative is that there is no free Wi-Fi, anywhere in the building. Hint: there's free Wi-Fi at the Holiday Inn across the street.
I was in Baltimore for a convention and the hotel is just a short walk away. If I were in Baltimore for other reasons, I'd stay elsewhere as the immediate area doesn't have much to offer after nightfall and the neighborhood gets a little dodgy just a few blocks away in most directions.
