We've been going to Ballard Pediatrics for almost 3 years now--and it's truly a great place. Our son sees Dr. Archibald regularly, and we love her dearly! She's great with our son, who has special needs. She's always very patient and she seems to genuinely care about our son's well being.
The nurses have all been wonderful too. The only downside I can think of is sometimes when I have called in the past, the receptionists have not always been that friendly. Not a big enough deal to deter me in any way though. It's still a great office!!

We love Ballard Pediatrics, having gone here for 3 years, we've only had a couple of disappointments and generally the care is excellent. We've seen a few of the doctors although our regular one is Dr Del Beccaro. She rules. Even when my son is really upset to be there, she manages to get him to relax and laugh.
She is the main reason we go here. I would also see Drs Maliris, Allen, and Eldred. The others I don't know very well.
Nurses...well, some of them are really nice, but there was one young woman (maybe early 20's) who was downright cold. It's amazing how if you look at enough people working in a children's clinic you'll eventually find someone who doesn't seem to like kids.
This place has always been really good about calling us back when we have a question during odd hours, and they are open on Saturdays!

When we first moved to Seattle in 2000 we started taking our children to Ballard Pediatrics. Over the years we have seen most of the doctors there and have not had anything but positive interactions with them. Our favorites are Dr. McMahon and Dr. Eldred, who happen to share patients. Those two doctors in particular have guided us through ADHD, ear infections, a mystery disease which eventually fixed itself (it was probably mono but on a kid age 2 the mono tests are inconclusive), newborn weight gain issues, a cheek that needed stitches, peanut allergy, etc. etc. I trust them very much and highly recommend this practice.
We've been going to Ballard Pediatrics since 1992 and have seen everybody. One of the earlier reviewers is right Dr. Del Baccaro does rock - she rocks the house and all three of my kids have loved her! But I have been very happy and satisfied with each and every doctor here. I have recommended this office to everyone in the area - why get a downtown Seattle pediatrician - it's nuts! When you have a sick child you want easy access and quick care. Some women think, well I work downtown I want an office close to my work...you won't be at work if you have a sick child and why pay for parking and fight crowds? If you live in north Seattle don't even think of any where else - Best Pediatric office and they know all the key specialists in the city too and will direct you accordingly. I'd give them ten stars! Great office!
