I go to this place a lot to meet up with friends or grab a quick milk tea after grocery shopping, but if it wasn't near by, I probably wouldn't come here as often.

The quality of the teas is alright.  They often don't have certain flavors or certain kind of pearls, which is annoying if you are absolutely craving something in specific, BUT there's a good amount of variety on their menu so you can find a close second to whatever you wanted.  Their smoothies are alright, but they definitely are made from powder and have unnatural colors.

The environment is pretty chill and you can study here since there's free wi-fi.  There are some nice couches to lounge and chat with friends for a long time too.  So all in all, this place is OK but not the best for bubble teas.  I have not tried their food yet, so maybe it'll surprise me!

It's a generic bubble tea place. Not great, but not the worst place I've been to either. Can't really say I'll be actively wanting to come back.

I didn't try the food so I can't vouch for that.

    ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I ordered a hot green tea from this place the other day and the drink maker proceeded to pour cold green tea into what looked like a styrofoam cup and began to MICROWAVE it for what seemed like a full three minutes.  SERIOUSLY?  When I received my tea I was finally able to confirm that it was styrofoam.  On the bottom of the cup there was a "6" in the plastic indicator triangle.  I told her I didn't think it was safe to microwave it and she immediately assured me, "It's fine, it's totally safe.  We do it ALL the time."

Then using my handy dandy iPhone I looked up plastic #6 on the internet and showed her the results page where it clearly said "DO NOT MICROWAVE" for plastic #6. She did exchange me the Cancer Tea with something else (of course, with an attitude) but if they're serving customer Cancer Tea "all the time", what other bad business and health decisions are they making?  Eek.  Yelpers beware.

WTF people. I am from Los Angeles, I had 4 days to scout out the best milk tea in Dallas, and it was here, at Bali Slush.

I don't know about their tapioca, I dont know about iced drinks, but this milk tea with no ice or boba I got from them, a staple of my existance here in LA, was a LOT like LA. It was the closest to SoCal milk tea I've had there so far, so I will go back and go to all of the other milk tea joints to see if any others also have this style of delicious milk tea.

Maybe it was the day I went it, but it was FREAKING delicious and VERY close to SoCal milk tea, although I admit not dead on.

Because I found another store in TX that has delicious So-Cal like milk tea, and it is better than this, I am lowering this one star, because like I said, it's not dead on.

Is there a half star that I can rate? Sadly no!!!

I was there this afternoon for my first ever visit and I know that will be my last too. My friend and I ordered the same drink, Taro milk tea (how hard to make honestly) and they tasted NOTHING like taro. It was powdery and dull chocolatie! I tasted no TARO flavor but just some awful sweetness.

I was real closed to ask for my money back!!!

This is a bubble tea cafe opened up by a business couple as an investment. It seems to mostly be run by the kids and grandmother, and that may be why you end up with the service that others have commented on - it can be slow. However, my Thai Tea boba drink was great.

What I really came for, though, was the Indonesian food. I heard that they were Indonesian, and most of the snacks sitting around are Indonesian snacks you can't get elsewhere. I was told that on Friday and Saturday they serve Indonesian food, and that was correct. The menu of the day is written on a little chalk board, and we ordered a number of things - bihun goreng, nasi lemak, two kinds of sate, etc. They have a little menu with photos that they'll hand you if you ask so you can get a better idea of what you're actually ordering.

We went and shopped at Asia world for 40 minutes so that they had time to prepare the big order we'd asked for. It was all good stuff, though it would probably be good fresher (we took it home and at it later). Considering there isn't a true Indonesian restaurant in the whole metroplex, it was nice to have food from home.

(however, on the other side of Asia world is a food court opening up, and one of the spots in there was Malay. It wasn't open yet but the menu looked amazing... someone try it and review it!)

Had been craving for Indonesian foods. It's a nice surprise to be able to find them in Texas. Had tried Lontong cap go meh, Pempek, Ayam kalasan and Bandeng presto. They are quite authentic and taste better than the ones I had in Chicago or Bay area. They normally serve the Indonesian foods in the weekend, however sometimes you can get some of them in the weekday afternoon if the aunty is there. Just call ahead first.

As for bubble milk teas, still could not beat Fantasia in Bay area. But they are not too bad. They have popping bubbles in addition to tapioca. And if you miss durian, their durian slush is quite good.

It's really hard to find Indonesian restaurant in TX. So far, this is the best Indonesian restaurant I've been. Prices were reasonable. The place is mainly a bubble tea place, but on the weekends they serve Indonesian food. Yes, only on the weekends.
The food tastes pretty close to what I had back in Indonesia but not that authentic. But if you're in the States, far away from Indonesia, this would satisfy your craving.

    No!

Firstly, this place smells awful.   Its like a bunch of fried samosas have been sitting out for a week under a hot lamp.

Secondly, the service is terrible.  We ordered two smoothies at 3:30pm.  Got pissed from waiting too long, walked up to the counter at 3:50pm and was told, "Oh uhh here's the mango smoothie, but the starfruit smoothie came out too salty so mumble mumble mumble."

I demanded a refund and took the mediocre mango smoothie and walked out.  Never coming back.

We had a simple green tea, which was good. As far as the other products sold I couldn't tell you. I can tell you that it was extremely warm in this place. I was uncomfortable. They do have free wifi which is a plus.

The sign said they had frozen yogurt, but I didn't see any. The two people working were not really paying attention to anything, including us.

They did have a TV with some OK seating, but nothing to scream about.

I probably won't be heading that way again.

There was quite a party behind the counter when we walked in Saturday afternoon...  I think there were 5 or 6 employees hanging out back there and having a good time. No problems there except that the service was awful!

I placed my order for an almond milk tea with pearls and sat down.  About five minutes later the only other customer in the store placed an order for a slushy.  Another five minutes goes by and she gets here slushy, so I inquire as to the status of my order.  Four of the employees look around at each other and then one says that they are working on it.  I watch as one employee starts on my drink and three minutes later it finally shows up.  No apologies, just a bunch of blank stares.

Bali Slush could have been saved from a one star review if the drink was decent, but the the almond milk tea was a bit powdery and seemed to be more sweet than flavorful.  The pearls were ok, though on a bit of the mushy side.

Prices are about $.25 - $.5 cents more than other boba places.

Definitely not worthy of a repeat visit.

    What I had today:
Avocado with pearl (boba) and 10-pcs wings with 2 flavors.
I picked garlic parmessan and bali hot spice.

The garlic parmesan was good!!! (try not to look at the spilled liquid drained at the base of the container, if you are afraid of gaining weight - the frying oil)
The hot Bali spice felt like Hooters' or Wingstop's, but crispier!

    Pros:
    - if you are big fan of fresh and crisp Indonesian-style fired chicken, this is the place!
    - Chicken wing tasted good!

    Cons:
    - service is a bit slow. If you are completely starving, the waiting felt like forever!
    - the avocado pearl is quite thick, but the avocado taste is not really strong. After leaving the cup for a shortwhile, the thick avocade melted and become more liquid-y kind of avocado.
    - Defaulted to take away, no question asked whether you want to dine in. So all food presented in the brown paper bag :)

I was anxious to try this place as I've yet to find a decent  place to get my bubble tea fix close to home. Bali Slush was SUCH a disappointment.

As soon as I entered, I was assaulted with a very unpleasant odor. As someone who frequents many Asian restaurants and markets, I can usually get accustomed to different scents. This was just really worse than anything I've ever encountered.

The two women who were working did not greet us and were not friendly at all. One stared off into space while the other seemed annoyed to have to ask for our order.

The selection is not great. The drinks were mediocre. The bubbles were alright but I've had better.

All in all, not a great experience. I would have been willing to try another drink on another visit had the help been a bit more friendly and courteous. We won't be back.

I've passed by this place so many times thinking I should try it. I finally went in today with my brother and sis-in-law while they were in town because they were craving some boboa tea.

I thought I would try some Fro-Yo...there's only 2 flavors...original and a flavor of the week. When I asked what's the flavor of the week, the girl turned around and asked a coworker what it was...It should have been a red flag to me. I shouldn't have ordered the Very Berry Fro-Yo....it was awful. We all tasted and grimaced...it was that bad. The others ordered thai iced tea, lychee, and strawberry with boboa. I think the only one that was decent was the lychee.

I am never going to go back there. I rather drive another 20 mins to go to Tea House in Saigon Mall. Now, that's good boboa tea!

The food is delicious and I loved the drinks too- I had a bubble kiwi smoothie. I did not smell anything weird but guess what...they do have durian fruit juice so the smell is explained right?? I think it is a super cute little place to eat great food and enjoy with friends, the way I did! They could speed up the service but that was not a big deal for me. I will be returning for sure.

Stopped by here after grocery shopping at Asia World Market (in the same plaza). The place itself is cute with a modern, clean look. It has a selection of boba teas, slushies, and snacks like wings and fried chicken. I decided to go for the Passion Fruit slushie with tapioca pearls. It took a long time to be made, but it was ok because the girl was so nice and I got to watch ice skating on the TV. But alas, my one indulgence for the week (trying to watch the sweets) was a bad choice. The slushie wasn't blended properly - huge chunks of ice still in it. It tasted overly sweet and syrupy, and the pearls were hard. Massive disappointment. Won't be coming back here again.

Bali Slush's drinks are average at best when compared to those of similar boba drink shops. Most of the drinks have so much sugar that the flavor is overpowered by the sweetness. To their credit, if they cut down on the sugar, the drinks would be quite good. I have yet to try their other products such as the frozen yogurt and baked goods.

The service was exceptionally slow on all the occasions I have been here despite the fact that they had several employees working on drinks. Luckily for Bali Slush, it has a fantastic location at an Asian shopping center, and it's in an area that is underserved by casual drink shops.

I'm a big fan of Bubble Tea having visited dozens of places in the Pacific Northwest and as far as North DFW goes, Bali Slush is the best.  The quality of the Bubble Tea drinks and bubbles blows the socks off the other places.  They're boba tapioca bubbles are chewy and perfect and they have a wide range of jellies.  They're actual drinks are amazing.  They use fresh REAL ingredients.  Like avocado?  Try a fresh avocado slush, smooth as they come.  Honestly I was going to Fat Straws and Cassis a lot before finding this place, but those are either 'too mainstream', overly fancy, or too sweet.  Bali Slush's drinks are just the right balance, they way they're suppose to be, not too sweet or under sweet.  Prices are good too, less than the other places.  I've found the place to be clean, no odd smells, and good service with a smile.  Last time I went I tried a durian for the first time and while it did smell a little funny (like durian should) it tasted good.  Try the Taro too, may not be as purple as other places, but good Taro flavor.  The best has got to be the avocado though, hard to beat a good avocado made fresh.  Only complaint is I wish I had found this place months earlier.

i just had a mango smoothie with the tapioca pearls.  i really enjoyed it.  the cute girl behind the counter was very sweet.  they have "real" food now which I want to go back and try.  It is Indonesian.  They had some fried bananas under a heat lamp on the counter which looked really nummy!  They have a chalkboard with their menu.  I believe she said it changes weekly.  I am looking forward to going back and trying some food.
