I haven't eaten my banh mi yet cuz I didn't know that someone else was going to buy me lunch, but I took one little bite and it was awesome!!
I came to this place a couple of times when I first came back to Dallas and liked it a lot and then they closed..for like 6 months. It just opened up again a month ago or so and I hadn't taken the time to go back.
The service was a little abrupt..just cuz I don't look Vietnamese, and I walked in kinda like "hmm..this is familiar" and the guy decided to order for me.."you want a sandwich, huh?" I'm like yeah I want bahn mi..he says, "you want combination, huh? how many?" I'm like DUDE let me order myself.
Anyway, the bahn mi came out all warm and toasty. Stuffed with lots of really good looking meats and pate spread  on there to make it so tasty. I can't wait to eat it!!

They remodeled this place a few months ago, since they're balllinnn! They sell tons of banh mi's everyday, that's what they're known for. CASH ONLY. Try the bbq pork banh mi. It's mmm mm good. The original banh mi is like their signature product. They are also known for their vietnamese ham "cha?" (spelling?) People from all over texas drive to Ba Le for the ham and some banh mi's. At the counter, they have these pastries called "pate so" (can't spell this one either lol) I got hooked on those when I was little but I was running up a bill so my mom started making them at home for me. Honestly, I still think Ba Le's pate so are the best. shhhh!
