The food is standard diner fair and the quality is standard diner.
It has a nostalgic draw to it that keeps people going to it.
The 24/7 hours is amazing for late night dining and it can be busy well into the night.
its nothing you will really have a craving for, but its a place you will keep going to for good food, good service, and good prices. -

The fact that The Diner is open 24-hours, and the fact that they serve excellent hangover food is really the only reason why I'm giving them 3 stars. If you're looking for a good breakfast, this place will probably suffice, but there are other places nearby that have better service, serve better quality food in the mornings, and are never really that busy (Cottage Restuarant, Seneca Knolls Diner). I tend to stick to the basics when I eat at here: breakfast food, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, fries, milkshakes - so I can't really vouch for other food on the menu.
Back in the day (circa 1990 - before they redid the place in a 50's rock-n-roll style) they used to have the best pancakes of all-time. The ones they have now are just a shadow of their former self. -

Had an awesome meatloaf sandwich here, fries were damn good. If you live in Syracuse and Stella's or the Gem is open, don't bother, it's kind of a trek, but if you get off work late, or are drunk and have a DD that's willing to put twenty minutes each way in? Hit this place up.

The diner is hit or miss. However pretty consistent breakfast food. Last time I went I got french toast with strawberries and cream cheese which was damn good although the strawberries weren't very impressive. Very large menu and the service varies from great to poor.

I had a club sandwich, and I thought it was one of the better ones I had in a while. Also, the staff was quick and friendly. I'll definitely be back to explore the menu a bit more and study on those late nights.

Visited this diner with my family for breakfast. The food was not good at all. The pancakes were very dry and the sausage was not cooked well, it was cold. I cannot recommend this diner.
