Baldwin Park is the place to be. I live over here and this place has its own everything. Great scenery, great food, great pets and great people! Lake Baldwin is across the street from me and the path around the lake is a great way to get some exercise!
People come from all over to be over here at the lake. Its great to see everyone out enjoying the sun and the fresh air.

I love how everything is 3 minutes or less from where I live (grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants). Its very beautiful and relaxing. My neighbors are awesome and people are smiling everywhere you go (sounds like some only-in-a-movie-or-perfect-world-type-stuff don't it). I kid you not its great over here!

    Come and see for yourself!

Baldwin Park is a neighborhood located about 4 miles East of Downtown Orlando.  It is the site of a former military training base.  It is a "New Urbanism" neighborhood where the first home was sold in the summer of 2002.  There continues to be some building going on, though the neighborhood has an established feel about.

You will find a mix of housing, retail, restaurants, natural habitats, walking and biking trails, schools, and lot's of local events going on in this neighborhood.

You can find families with young children, teens, young adults, retired folks, singles and couples out enjoying what the neighborhood has to offer.

You could come and spend a nice afternoon walking around the lake or stroll through the neighborhood.  There are paths that go around the handful of natural habits that are scattered throughout the community.  You could grab lunch, ice cream, drinks, wine or play some virtual golf.  You could easily spend an afternoon or morning whether it be on a date or with family.

This is a wonderful community to live or come play for the day!

Beautifully designed in regards to city planning. The walking path around Lake Baldwin is what I enjoy the most. It has a wide path that doesn't intersect with the main road (it's safe), its also roughly 2.5 miles around.

The location also offer a great variety in restaurants and shops. Theres even a hidden Publix, which I think is one o the nicer looking Publix in the area.

As others has described it, this a a great walking/biking/moving-action-ing and dog friendly area. Lots of water bowls everywhere and numerous parks around to lounge around.

Love me some Baldwin Park.  It is like the epitome of gorgeousness with a relaxing atmosphere.  Everything comes across as so upscale yet the "stuffy" feelings isn't really there.

It houses my favorite sushi place in Orlando, Seito, my favorite Wine Bar in Orlando, Uptown Wine Bar and my favorite nail salon in Orlando, Baldwin Nails.  I don't even live here and make the drive over here to check out events going on, get my nails did, take my pup to the doggie park - it's just gorgeous!

I love grabbing a drink or food at a place right on the lake, its gorgeous and always clean.  I feel very safe in this neighborhood too! Overall just a beautiful place in Orlando!

I dig Baldwin Park for a few reasons.  First and foremost, it has one of the prettiest walking trails in Orlando.  I don't know the exact mileage, but I clocked 2.5 miles in my car going around the lake.  It's a really peaceful, well kept trail that you can cross over onto Cady Way if you're looking for a long haul.

The BP Seito Sushi is one of my favorite sushi places in Orlando.  Easily out runs some of the fancier places around town.  The Barnies not only serves up great coffee but a nice selection of beer and wine too.  Ferris and Fosters is a great place to stop in for a quick hit of chocolate or sign up for a chocolate making class.  The Magic Nails here is also one of the better in the city. I've always gotten great service there.

For the most part it's a very dog friendly community, one of the best dog parks in the city connects to it too (Fleet Peeples Park).

Yes, it's a cookie cutter, homogenized community.  There's not alot of soul here (yet), and I still picture the Navy Base when I'm tooling around.  Overall though, it's definitely a cool place to spend an afternoon.

This is a very nice quiet nature walk/run/bike ride for those who like to get outdoors and get some fresh air. It's about 2.5 miles around Lake Baldwin and very easy to find. Shops and beautiful homes surround the area, along with a beautiful setting of trees and the lake.

I LOVE living in Baldwin Park. It is quaint, convenient, and people are nice. It's clean, safe, and the shops and restaurants are reliable and not overpriced.

Some say it's a lot like Celebration, and while it is similar, I must say that I feel MUCH more comfortable in Baldwin than I do in Celebration. It is more relaxed and "normal", where Celebration feels like a movie set. The special events (Art Festival, Food & Wine, movies in the park, etc.) are fun and a great neighborhood gathering.

The parks around Baldwin are great for walking/playing with my dog or meeting friends for an afternoon in the sun.

It is convenient to Winter Park and Downtown, and an easy drive to MCO.

I love it! I really can't complain at all!

Quite lovely!  Great place to walk around in the morning and watch the sunrise.  Trendy little shops and charming homes.

AND it does have character.  What's not to love?

Great location and they have so many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood.  If you want to hit up downtown or Winter Park, it's just a quick drive.

The neighborhood is well manicured and the facilities are well maintained.

This is a wonderful planned community, a polar opposite to the rest of Orlando which  unfortunately can only be described as unplanned urban sprawl. It is a walking community and bike and pet freindly. While I don't live here, I love to travel the paths and enjoy the lake and the architecture.
My only issue, and it is a small one, things seem a bit cramped here.

What a picture perfect community with cookie cutter house lined streets and perfectly manicured lawns.  This neighborhood looks like the backdrop right out of the movie Pleasantville with it's well maintained homes and pedestrian friendly sidewalks.  It's a great area offering various types of living options (single family homes, condos, apartments) all surrounding a village center of stores, shops, restaurants and entertainment.  It's a new pedestrian and pet friendly young neighborhood with a old school traditional feel.

This was an amazing dog park. Great location by the lake. Even a spot to wash your dog after a romp in the lake. Just don't for get your own doggie shampoo. I can't say enough, we loved it and so did Georgie;) we had to drag him out!!!

I have to mention Paddy Murphy's. This is an amazing pub in Baldwin
park that you can't miss. In the middle of a major thunderstorm, the restaurant found a safe, dry place for me and Georgie to hang out on the patio. Very dog friendly and the most amazing fish and chips!!! Haven't had such great fish and chips in forever.

I took my dog to this park and he enjoyed it!  The lake is big and beautiful.  It was cute to watch all the dogs run free, play, and swim in the water.  There are trees and shade so you can go during the day time and not get too hot.  It was busy and a lot of ppl seem to enjoy going there.  Next time I will bring the shampoo to hose my dog.  There is a huge picnic table and shade to sit under too for lunch break.

Great area to visit and run around Lake Baldwin. They also have Blue Jacket Park to take the kids for a bike ride, fly a kite, or just have a nice picnic. Restaurants are nice and plenty of housing available on the upper end of the price scale compared to surrounding areas. The only downside is occasional dog droppings everywhere including the sidewalks. Some of the shops are pet friendly and this community has a large amount of pet owners. A great number of banks in the area along with a nice Publix grocery store.

I live in Baldwin Park, so I am biased. When I moved here I was concerned about it being a real neighborhood, but my neighbors are fantastic. Everyone is friendly, and it seems we all enjoy the parks, amenities and the village center.

Recently I was given a different a family's perspective of the narrowness streets within the neighborhood.  To me, a non-resident and non-parent, it seems like an annoyance when you are trying to park or navigate through.  But if you look at it from a different angle, it can be seen as helpful.  Because you do not have much room, it causes you to slow down as you drive which is very welcome for any parent with small children.  They see the small streets as a safeguard for wandering and energetic kids.  So maybe that was a purposeful intention on the planner's part to adhere to their committment of being a neighborhood oriented community.

I may be one of the only ones who gives Baldwin Park 5 stars but I have my reasons. Its quaint little village like atmosphere with sprawling homes and upscale main streets remind me of my northern roots. Something very few communities in Florida do. It has a north eastern feel, minus some of the stucco and tile homes. I love it here. And this coming from a self proclaimed urbanista. I know some may compare Baldwin Park to Stepford but I really don't get a creepy vibe at all. In fact I get the vibe that life here in this Baldwin bubble is perfect, its own little Mayberry. And from what I've seen and heard of the residents they wouldn't disagree. Its an all inclusive community with everything from dry cleaners, cute boutiques, an authentic Irish pub, to sushi. Every afternoon you will find beautifully dressed sophisticated yuppies of Seito Sushi sitting and chatting enjoying their carefree lifestyle. I'm not sure why the people of Baldwin don't seem to have jobs, but they don't. C'mon people, now who could resist the urge to live that kind of lifestyle? Where picking which Max Mara blouse and Theory slacks to wear while meeting the girls for brunch was really the most trying decision of the day. I'm sure you're thinking this is must be an exaggeration, but after a short stint working there I really feel like this was the case for a good many residents. Plus its clean and finely manicured there, a trait so much of Orlando is lacking. And its always sunny with a high of 75. Okay, so that might have been an exaggeration. But if you haven't checked out this little Orlando community just northeast of downtown do it, and see for yourself.

I go to Baldwin Park to get my haircut at the old time barber shop: Carr's.  They're always so friendly there and give a perfect haircut/shave.  The area reminds me of Celebration, which also has a Carr's.    I love walking around there on Sunday afternoons.  It feels so quaint and the people are always friendly.  Cars drive really slow and they'll always let you walk by without attempting to run you over like in most other parts of Central Florida.  Lake Baldwin is a great place to take a stroll by and just take it easy.  I like going out to the docks in cold weather to just relax and have a convo. They have alot of little restaurants that I have yet to try but look intriguing.  One of them was Chi which is Vietnamese, Turkish, and Chinese in one.  I went to a great chocolate shop there where they make some great fudge.  The community itself looks nice but it would be nice to see some variation from house-to-house.
