It's actually named the 19th Hole.  More specifically, Tobey's 19th Hole.  Other reviews are here... as is mine...

They have very good burgers here in two sizes with fries.

The larger one is up there with Rocky's, The Waterfront, Mr. Peabody's and others that I have reviewed in the past.

I'm a bit relucant to post a reivew here, because I'm selfish and don't want to let out the best kept secret in San Diego, but here I go!

This place looks like a hole in the wall.  Let's face it, the City of San Diego is bankrupt, and they can't even afford to keep a fresh coat of paint on their properties any more, but my boyfriend and I decided to check this place out on recommendation from a friend of his.

The inside is just as pretty as the outside, but don't let any of that scare you off.  Once you are greeted by the host, you will find that the people who work here are very friendly and at the top of their game.   She promptly seated us outside and brought us waters and menus.  The view from our table was AWESOME, an unobstructed view of downtown, the cornonado bridge, the golf course, and all of the airplanes flying overhead on their final approach to Lindbergh field (they are actually not too noisy either).

The view is definately the reason you will want to come back here again and again, but that's not all!  The food is delicious!  They serve a nice array of "diner" type food such as breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, finger foods, and more.  I ordered bacon and eggs, your basic breakfast staple, and it was delicious.  My boyfriend had a ham and cheese sandwich and they offered to serve it hot or cold, however he wanted it done, which is kinda nice since most restaurants either do it one way or the other, but they definately don't ask you which way you'd like it.

Overall, we enjoyed our meal, the service was friendly, prompt, and with a smile.  The food quality was great, hot and fresh, WAY better then your average Rudford's or Denny's food!  The prices were very reasonable as well, which makes this a home run in our book!

Dare to try it, you'll be glad you did!  By the way, they do not allow dogs on their outdoor patio due to health department regulations.
