This is a sweet spot to shoot off some arrows if you're into archery. It's not very expensive and cost $2 on the honor system.

    This place is great.

Tons of different targets and never busy.

Last went on a saturday and felt like i was the only one there.

    Super quiet and peaceful.

With all the quality practice time here I am ready for the zombie apocalypse!  FYI, It's better to kill zombies with arrows than bullets because an arrow will not atrack the attention from other zomies within earshot.

Oh yeah, the fee is on an honest policy, so  don't be a scrooge and forget to leave your $2 in the collection box.

    groupon got us here.

apparently, watching the lord of the rings trilogy does not make you an expert at archery. while the lessons were great, it felt as if we could have learned the same techniques via google. at least the instructors were fun.

regardless, it's a great way to make use of the sun.

note: if you have your own gear, you're always welcome to use the field/targets via $2 donations.

If you like archery this is a welcome change from the indoor ranges.  You enter the range by the Globe parking lot near the bridge over the 163.  The range is kind of ghetto but what can you expect when it only costs $2 to get in.  Make sure you pay the 2 bucks, I mean are you really that cheap?

The targets that were open are maintained and well laid out.  Most targets even have tabs on the ground indicating the yardage.  There are plenty of targets so you don't need to shoot any apples off people's heads please.  I say that because I found a perfectly good apple on the ground near a target, blood, and drag marks in the dirt.  Go figure!

I love this place. Its a great place to practice outdoors and its not terribly crowded. Plenty of targets and various ranges. If you enjoy bowhunting or target practice check it out!
