When I first starting Pilates training I used Balanced Body equipment. I love their craftsmanship and attention to detail. All the Pilates apparatus that I have in my studio (reformers, cadillac and combo chair) were all manufactured by Balanced Body. I've used other types of Pilates equipment manufactured by other makers - but Balanced Body is my preferred Pilates equipment manufacturer. In addition to Pilates studio equipment, they also offer a variety of other small apparatus related to Pilates exploration in movement as well as related educational books and instructional DVD's.
I also have to commend Balanced Body for their support sponsoring educational venues such as Pilates on Tour. Such educational workshops gives Pilates instructors (such as me) and other professionals (such as physical therapists) the opportunity to learn how to apply the work and philosophy of Joseph Pilates into our practice when working with clients and patients.
