Missi is fun, funny and totally awesome! I booked Missi for a very special evening for my boyfriend and I, Missi came over to my house and gave us an on-site couples massage.
I even did the foot detox...which is actually kinda trippy! Ask Missi about it! I'm pretty healthy as far as eating mostly organic and taking a shot of organic wheat grass in my fruit smoothie every morning so this detox didn't really do much for me...but still an interesting treatment.
If you are looking for a nice massage and don't want to leave your home...this is a good deal! I do however suggest setting up a timer or clock around so that you make sure you get your full hour in...
Also, I have never had my shakras balanced before and Missi helped me with that. Missi has a really strong and positive energy to her which is totally transcendent. -

I really enjoy taking Melissa's yoga/fitness classes that she offers at Balance Health in Ben Lomond. Her studio is also wonderful as well. Peaceful and serene nestled in the redwoods of Felton. I enjoyed a relaxing massage followed by an outdoor shower. I also tried the foot detox. That was really cool and while I was skeptical, I found it to be beneficial. Melissa's prices are very reasonable as well. Melissa's technique in teaching yoga/fitness is very encouraging and rewarding. She had me doing things I never thought I could do! I believe anyone can benefit from a class or massage with Melissa. Check out Balance Studio Spa it's well worth it.

Established in 2003 severing the San Lorenzo Valley in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Located in a small quite community called Forest Lakes in Felton CA.
A day spa with a spiritual twist in a magical sacred place, Forest Lakes nestled in the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains off Hwy 9 just minutes from downtown Santa Cruz and 40 minutes from the Silicon Valley.
We have two private treatment rooms (one can also serve as a class space), two outside garden tents, hot tub, infrared sauna, outdoor shower and semi private bathroom with plenty of garden space. Our space has a healing and relaxing sense about it and our staff are professional and knowledgeable about their craft. From the time you walk through the dragonfly gate until you leave you will feel at peace and able to breathe. We offer private appointments, couples date nights and girl spa parties.

Melissa is the founder of an idea of a full service holistic medical fitness, wellness and skin care center all served up with the spa atmosphere. She created her dream to help others by opening the first of its kind in the Santa Cruz Mountains, in 2003. Melissa has led many classes, workshops and written many articles on the subject of energy based health care. In 2008 she produced and co-hosted a radio show on KSCO 1080 called Radiance and Chocolate and currently is co-hosting a Sunday AM show on KZSC called Conciliation Sunday with Kevin Spitzer. Publishing a book about her own journey from rock bottom and back - The Key to Life is...Balance in 2008.
