Very nice, well equipped, modern facility. From what Ive seen, they've made a name for themselves in the area for the last several decades.

The people who work there are nice and confident and appear to be knowledgeable and skillful. I do question their listening skills, though.

Case in point- I took my car here because the 'check engine' light came on, and asked them to run a computer diagnostic, and gave them information on how the car was running, handling, and so on.

I also asked them to check out another problem and fix it- that the high beam indicator light was flashing, and the daytime running lights were not working.

Good news is that they fixed the 'check engine' light problem, and in short time. The bad news- they insisted that there wasn't a problem with the daytime running lights and they didn't notice the high beam indicator light flashing!

How could this be? I gave them more information, hoping this would let them check it again, but they insisted the headlights and daytime running lights were working normally.

I gave up. At least the headlights were working, but the issue with the daytime running lights and the flashing high beam indicator light were never resolved. How in the world could these experienced mechanics with so much modern and advanced technology not see a problem Ive saw for weeks and weeks? Either they don't listen well, they done employ and headlight specialists, or concluded this issue wasn't important. The last part is somewhat surprising, since I cant imagine mechanics wanting to turn away business.

Well, since then, I traded in this very car for something better.

Baker's has five star potential but after this experience all I can say is that Ive had better, and Ive had worse.
