Been missing the local Baja Fresh since they closed so we finally made the big drive to Irving for a hit. Food was good as always. The three of us had drinks and entrees with a Pronto Guacamole starter for under $20. That's a good deal and I've had fast food cost about the same. And the quality of this food is definitely above fast food. High quality ingredients that are very fresh. Yeah, this isn't Tex Mex and it is NOT trying to be.

We like their tacos, their burritos, their taquitos, their.... If you have an open mind give it a try.

I should probably give it 5 stars that I have a hard time giving those out except to  the nicer places. I'm sure we'll make the drive again.

In August 2005, I was diagnosed with Chiari.  I spent most of my time for the next 5 months driving back and forth from work to the doctor.  I had physical therapy twice a week in the Baylor Irving-Coppell Surgical Center on Macarthur.  It was not long after these appointments started that I found Baja Fresh.

Every day after physical therapy I would go get lunch at Baja and take it back to the office.

I ate there constantly.  When I finally finished my prescribed physical therapy... I started going to the location on Forest.  And I would also visit the location on Lemmon when a friend from Houston was up in the Turtle Creek area on business.

The food is great.  I love the tacos, pork carnitas, steak, chicken, Baja Fish, Grilled Mahi Mahi... I've had them all.  The Guacamole Pronto is the perfect appetizer.  Healthy Mexican Food - Who'da Thunk IT?

This place sure did.  There is no microwave or msg or lard in sight!  Just fresh, great tasting food... with flavorful sauces.  I usually it of the salsa bar for extra pico de gallo to up my "veggies" for the day.

The Grilled Mahi Mahi Tacos are 3 pts each on Weight Watchers and the rest of the Tacos are 4 pts... if you are keeping up with that kind of thing.  Their salads are made from ALL ROMAINE... for those of us who can't eat iceburg (or wouldn't want to if we could).

Today, I drove Jenn C to the airport for her trip out of town and decided to drop by my old favorite lunch on my way back to Plano.  I had the pork carnitas taco (hot sauce) and a Grilled Mahi Mahi Taco, black beans & rice.  I'm so glad I did... I had forgotten how much I love this place because there isn't one anywhere near me.

I will respectfully renounce Michael's post dishing BajaFresh as a bunch of HogWash and will recognize that anyone who gives Chuy's 5-Stars doesn't understand my tastebuds one single bit.  So, Yelper's... 2 5-star votes, 1-1-star.... what's your vote?

This place is disgusting, ive had REAL fresh tex-mex food, AND IT WASN'T FROM THIS PLACE, thats for sure. They douse everything on the menu with they're signature piss tasting sauce, in white pasty color(to ruin your tacos)or chunky black(to ruin everything else). In fact, they have a whole bar just for sauces, how ironic. I guess they're food was eatable but the sauce just made it disgusting. Sure, the ingredients are fresh blah, blah blah, but when the food sucks it just doesnt matter.

In fact the location nearest to me went out of business, and rightly so.

Just a bit pricier than fast food, but what a difference! The servings are huge, the ingredients are fresh, and it is SOOO good. I reccomend Guacamole Pronto and the Tostadas.
