I can't believe I've never came here before, after all these years of wondering. I can finally say that I'm happy with the food. During my first visit, I ordered a ham, egg & cheese breakfast bagel which was $3.25 + tax. Really good, but I should have had asked to add some mayo. Very fast and friendly service from the hispanic guys, though. The cashier lady, not so much friendly. Seemed tired with an attitude.

Whatever. Food is good though so I'd love to come back again.

Although they don't have the best bacon egg 'n cheese I've ever tasted, this place is good for other reasons.
1) they deliver! there is nothing better than being hung over and getting an egg sandwich delivered to you in your pajamas.

2) The prices. An egg and cheese on a bagel costs $2.00 The same thing in Grand Central would cost me $4.50 and it would probably be a fake egg. ew.

3) Whole wheat everything bagels. I don't feel as gulity eating a bagel if its whole wheat.

The service is good too and they have good sanwiches and salads as well.

I'm more thankful for this the idea of this store than the actual goods they serve.  Fabulous to have a bagel shop right around the corner - sucky that their breakfast sandwiches are not amazing.  I went mid-morning the other day and they had pretty much ran out of almost every bagel.  And they only have fake tabasco.  Check out guy was on the phone, didn't acknowledge me while he rang me up, gave me a heeeavey sigh when I attempted to kill him with kindness by Minnesota nicely saying "thank you" - he rolled his important eyes and continued with his customer is always wrong conversation - Lame.

This is just your average bagel shop, but I'm particularly enthusiastic about it because of three things.

-They have a decent selection of bagels which includes my favorite: whole wheat everything.
-The staff is very friendly (this may not be such a big deal to some, but is always important to me).
-The price for a toasted whole wheat everything bagel with extra cream cheese was $1.75....  These sometimes go for up to like $3.50.. And it was a big bagel (it ended up being breakfast and lunch)!

This is way too long for a bagel review... Anyways, I'm very happy to have this place up the block.

i give this the one star because after finding about this place on yelp - we called in at 5am to ask for bagels. they said they open at 530.

at 545am we roll along in a cab and tried to get some bagels. NO BAGELS.

no bagels at 545am?! and they call themselves a bagel store?!  maybe i will try them eventually.

next time, ill make sure to roll in at 10am, maybe i'll definitely get some bagels at that time.

I like being part of an elite group of people that gets their bagels delivered less than a block away. Always good. Friendly staff. Breakfast staple :)
