OMG this place is too good. Their cream cheese is fresh and flavorful. Their bagels are fresh. Everything is fresh. Their burgers, bagel sandwiches and special sandwiches are all excellent. If you haven't gone you need to go.

robert  prepares perfect pizza for my excellent wife.
i order in advance,  wait in line (this place is very popular), pick up some tasty bagels/dogs for the weekend, and have money left over. folks behind the counter are quick and friendly.

Instead of going to our usual spot, my friend decided to take me to Bagel Corner. It worked out well since she also needed to make a copy of her key which there so happens to be a place right next door! Talk about convenient!

I ordered the Santa Fe on a wheat bagel: chicken breast with avocado and other stuff I forgot.

I presume they make the bagels fresh in house daily, if so that's a great plus. As far as the bagel goes, I felt like I was eating wheat bread but in the form of a circle. It lacked character for me but at least it tasted like it should have.

I thought that it was strange to name it Santa Fe when there wasn't anything "santa fe" like. Maybe I am confusing what I ordered but I'm pretty sure I'm not. Or maybe, I have a wrong impression of what santa fe flavors entail? What comes to mind for me is spice, heat, aggressive flavor notes and anything mexican. I felt like I got none of those qualities.

Essentially, I paid for cooked chicken, avocado w/ mayo and mustard on top of a round wheat bread.

    Overall Thoughts

Clearly, the long lines are an indicator that they are doing something right, I guess I just didn't get the memo

Long lines at lunch. Like, out the door, long.

    Awesome salads. And they're HUGE.

    Soups are very good, too.

And of course, the bagels! Delicious and freshly made.

    Came here with the coworkers.

Got my coworker's grills chicken sandwich on bagels w/ sprouts at first... a few bites in we realized we had each other's sandwich.... the chicken was dry. no good.

when i ate my  half of the Tuscany sun sandwich, with Chicken Eggplant. Mozzarella. Red bell pepper. All seed bagels..YUMMY! Would have been better w sprouts though.

Nothing to go out of my way to this place. Honestly I like the other Bagel spots in Salinas rather than this one. For some reason I find this place a little over priced for what it's worth. Don't get me wrong it's still a nice Bagel spot just not my cup of tea.

Decisions, decisions....I can't decide whether I prefer Bagel Corner or my hometown favorite, Marina Donuts & Bagels.  Hopefully I won't have to because Bagel Corner will be my new lunch time spot anytime I venture into Salinas.  Bagel Corner wins on all levels, primarily because the variety of bagels and sandwich types is staggering.

I had heard some good things about Bagel Corner and saw them all come to fruition today when my family and I came here for lunch.  Since I love bacon, I ordered The Club on an Asiago Cheese bagel and my girl had a standard Roast Beef on an Onion Bagel.  Because the weather wasn't all that great today, I also ordered a small cup of the Artichoke Bisque Soup that I've heard so much about.  The order was finished off with two drinks.  The damage came out to about $22.00 for everything, which is a little bit on the pricier end for a bagel/sandwich establishment, but whatever, I'm ballin' so it doesn't matter...lol

My girl and I got into a disagreement because she thought that the food was just decent.  I had difficulty convincing her that the Artichoke Bisque Soup was among the best soups I've ever had and that my sandwich was top notch as well.  I guess that's why they say opposites attract, but I strongly recommend eating lunch here.

As good as the food was, there was general disappointment present because they offered no sort of accommodations for children.  Although, I'm sure kids are welcome, they didn't have a high-chair in sight.  A definite no-no when a business boasts a family friendly environment.  This, however, won't be a deterrent to me coming back, the food is that good.

I went to bagel corner for lunch the other day with my brother, I had not been here in probably 5 years. I was pleased to see that they still make my favorite soup, the artichoke bisque.

I ordered a cup of the soup and then a plain bagel toasted with garlic butter. This was hands down my favorite lunch to order when I was in high school, it was just as good as I remember it.

I haven't eaten here in a long time, since I work on the Peninsula.  Saturday, I was famished, and I realized that the Bagel Corner was just around the corner.  Same owners as Ginos, so I got their Artichoke Bisque. It's crack soup. Seriously, rich and creamy.  Compared to the Bagel Bakery, their prices are much higher-- like almost double.  But, then again, their bagels are much softer and fresher in texture.  I ordered a simple Vegetarian sandwich (sprouts, tomatoes, cheese) that was under $5.00 and the soup. I also took home their seasonal pumpkin bagels (delicious).  If I worked in Salinas, I'd frequent this place.  The lines get long, though.

Did someone order cream cheese with their bagel?

CREAM CHEESE!!! They slab so much cream cheese, that it is thicker than the bagel itself. After moving away from salinas, I realized how generous the amount of bagel they give you. These bagels are huge, humungous, gigantic in comparison to the bagel shops in the southbay.

Bagel corner, I love you for your generosity and consistency.

Warm bagels? Check. Tasty salads? Check. Hearty soups? Check. The food at this place is solid -- you get exactly what you want and exactly what you pay for, and you're full after your meal (possibly with a little left over). I got the Ralph's Chicken Salad and an Italian Herb bagel, and I'm excited to say that there was more than enough to stretch into the next meal. My mom is an avid fan of the artichoke bisque soup, so I'll give it a thumbs-up, too.

But frills, ambiance, comfort? No checks there. I got the sense that a lot of teachers and students congregate here on their lunch break, which gives it that sort of this-is-my-happy-place-away-from-school-do-not-tal k-to-me tense vibe. If you can get past that (and stand the wait in line), then more soup for you!

TRIPLE BERRY BAGEL WITH CREAM CHEESE!!!!  DO IT!  I love this Ma and Pa joint!  There are so many other bagel places that are SO SO skimpy with their cream cheese.  The Bagel Corner ALWAYS hooks it up with an uber amount of cream cheese!  LOVE!  Don't forget to get an Orangina to drink.  I never really see those anywhere anymore :(  Thank goodness for the Bagel Corner for their fresh out of the oven bagels, whopping amounts of cream cheese and Orangina.

My favorite spot for bagels in Salinas. Even if I come here at noon I'll probably still get a blueberry bagel. They also have good lunch options... I've tried their salads, bagel dogs and sandwiches, they are all tasty.

They have cool t-shirts that say "I (heart) carbs"

Only downside: not open on Sundays, but I can live with that.

I love the bagels here. There always seems to be a line but well worth the short wait. The bagels are being made in the back so fresh is the word...the seed bagel is my favorite with all different seeds and SALT! Not alot but that makes it for me! Yumo!

The artichoke bisque is such a fine tasting soup. Salads have alot of choices. Everything is fresh here and all the servers are friendly.
When I worked in Salinas I always went here. LOVE IT!

If you are lookinG for fresh, quality, and inexpensive bagel, then this is the place.  Kid friendly in that the staff does mind my kids looking at and deciding which bagel they like.  Triple berry is a favorite but you can not go wrong with the bagels,

This is not a fancy coffee house but you will notice people talking to each other and not peering at their laptops or cell phones.  It is a get your bagel and coffee kind of place versus experience, but that suits me just fine.

I grew up going to Bagel Bakery growing up but have been to Bagel Corner upon return visits with my family for bagel sandwhiches. It's much closer to our house.

The bagels aren't chewy and amazing like NY bagels but they're more bready and good for sandwhiches. The ingredients seem fresh and the service is prompt and friendly. This place seems packed during lunchtime due to high school students but there's always a good crowd at the random times we've been.

I know it's probably extremely unhealthy but the artichoke bisque soup is so good! I always cave in and get some.

Make sure you get the bagel toasted for more amazing'ness) The sandwiches are amazing in every way. The Blackend Chicken is out of this world. Hands down by far the most amazing bagel place I have ever been to. BTW Bagel Corner sh*t's on The Bagel Bakery.

Love, love love this place! They definitely have the BEST bagels I've ever had. I've been going to this place for years but recently moved up to northern california and haven't found a bagel place slightly comparable to the Bagel Corner. Every time I come back into Salinas I HAVE to stop by and get a bagel. I would recommend this place and don't forget to ask for the bagel to be toasted- it makes it 10 times better! And not to mention the strawberry cream cheese is so gooooood =)

I frequent the Bagel Corner 1 to 3 times per week.  Their bagels are fresh, oversized and priced right.  The selection of flavors is impressive, even though I get the same thing each visit.  They have a nice selection of coffee blends with a well-stocked array of coffee creamers, sugars, etc.  Plenty of seating (indoors and out) makes for a nice visit.  The outdoor patio is nice if you have your dog with you.

My only complaint is that their service is slow.  In the morning, when it's busiest, the line of customers waiting can go out the door.  Regardless, the employees do not hustle one bit.  On numerous occasions, I've had to do a 180 and go elsewhere.  I find this odd as the employees have two tip cans by the registers.

Overall: It's a great bagel shop-probably one of the best in Salinas, but don't be in a hurry.

I think it was more than 2 years ago that my sister first introduced me to the bagels here.  She didn't finish half of her bagel and I ended up finishing it for her and I have been hooked ever since.  I'm just saddened that the spread they used o' so long ago (I think it was a pineapple spread) was discontinued, but they carry an incredibly light and tasty bagel called the TRIPLE BERRY.  Get it toasted and spread some really really light strawberry cream cheese on that puppy and you are good to go.  It really is too bad I'm in Salinas so seldom as to miss out on some good eats in the area.

I have now lived in Fresno for the last 6 years and cannot seem to find anything that comes close to how wonderful the bagels and cream cheese taste at Bagel Corner. And not only that, the bagel sandwiches are great too. Every time I make a trip back to Salinas I have to make a stop there, it's the best!

Bagels are good, and they do have a variety of items on the menu. Definitely not limited to bagels, they also have breakfast burritos, soups, salads and deserts. My wife and I do enjoy the food here and the artichoke bisque soup is fabulous! When visiting this place one must order at least a cup of this soup and it will knock your socks off. Fridays they serve a home made sausage sandwjich which is also very good. Doesn't rate too high for me, because it is a bit pricey for lunch and service is very slow. Lunchtime, could be a long wait as the line goes out the door at times, which makes it difficult to order, eat, and get back to work in your alloted hour. Definitely cannot fit into a 1/2 lunch break.
