This is a pretty solid place to have lunch. I've only been once for breakfast, and I was totally turned off because I ordered cheese grits and do you know what they brought me? Regular grits with a slice of American cheese on top. That's just not right. Other breakfast items usually look pretty appealing so I probably just made the wrong choice.
But I'm pretty sure I've liked just about everything I've ordered for lunch...they serve stuff like sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. I like that it's almost always crowded but I've never had trouble finding a seat. I actually think the service can be kind of slow at times and occasionally a little huffy, but not enough to bother me. In the Kirby and Poplar area, it's a good choice for lunch because it's pretty inexpensive and they have a lot to choose from, plus some dessert options as well.
They do have fountain drinks, which is a must for me. Sounds weird, but the pickles and bagel chips they start you off with are addicting! Ask for cream cheese too. I think it costs a little extra but it completes the pickle/bagel chip experience. The Bagel Company is the kind of place I go to again and again because it's easy, comfortable, and reasonable.
This is a great place to get breakfast or lunch! It is the only place I have found in Memphis that has [great] garlic bagels, too...but they have a large selection available if those aren't your thing.
The service is generally quick, everyone is very friendly, and they give you a lot of food for what you pay.
This is a great place for all kinds of breakfast and lunch food! The bagels are always delicious and fresh. Only place of its kind that I know of, I defiantly recommend it.
