I found this place 2 weeks ago, and I've been going here for breakfast almost every other day. There is a great selection of bagels and cream cheeses, everything is very fresh, and the prices are good. They toast the bagels to perfection, and put just the right amount of cream cheese. They also have really good crumb cake (regular and chocolate), but it's very rich, so I'd share it with a friend. Their black and white cookie is really soft and delicious, and great coffee too.

I'm highly disappointed by this version of the Bagel Bob's chain. I came here for a quick lunch and was disappointed to find a much smaller menu. Many might not find what I have next to say a very big deal, but I was so deeply irritated by the dumb service that I can't even bring myself to come back again. Screwing up my change, my order, and taking a surprisingly long time to slather some tofu cream cheese on a bagel, the staff were incredibly dim. Though some might prefer this one for convenience, and its proximity to NYU, I highly recommend avoiding it whenever possible.
The bagel was okay. The chicken salad was mediocre, like most chicken salad in NYC. The lines are intimidating, but they go quickly. So unless you're in an absolute hurry, don't let the wait intimidate you!

Not amazing but cheap. I believe it's 35 cents now on Monday evenings. Not a place to sit down though.

Bagel Bob's have been the best bagel I've had so far in Manhattan. The salt bagel's actually have salt on them opposed to just some sprinkles I've seen on others. The bagels are good size and good taste. I also love their black and white cookie! Whatever you ask to be on there you usually get a good amount whether it be tomato or salmon you'll get plenty of it enough to make another sandwich!

I hate NYU kids; I have no shame in saying that. Therefore, I hate this place. I prefer everything bagels to be like super loaded and have, you know, everything on it. I found their everything bagels to be kind of weak. I told them 3 times what I wanted, and somehow still ended up with the wrong cream cheese. Oh well. It was still okay. I just really hate NYU kids.

There's always a long line on Saturday mornings, so come early if you want fresh bagels. I don't like my bagels glopped on with cream cheese, and while they put on a smidge too much here for my tastes, it's still good. Their sandwiches and tuna melt are also worth checking out. Plus you can't beat their 25 cents a bagel deal from 4-7 pm on Mondays.
