I'm closeby, so I grab lunch there sometimes.
Let's see... stale bagels, old salads, the help is nice but kinda slow. I've had some decent sandwiches but its no guarantee. -

When I go back to visit my family in NY, I make a special trip to Dan's Bagels (now Bagel Biz) so that I can share their greatness with uninformed Californians. (It's pumpernickel, bitches! None of this dark rye crap...) The service has gone down a bit, but still great tasting bagels.

It's not quite the same here anymore - what was once divey Dan's Bagels in the getto-fabulous Marshall's shopping center gussied itself up to compete with the bigger, badder (badder bagels that is) Bagelicious. Dan's was smaller so the bagels were popping out hot more often, and they were more generous with the toaster time and butter than the new incarnation of Bagel Biz. But, the new store fits more whitefish salad, weird and hardly-authentic-NY flavored cream cheeses (but you know you like them), and black & white cookies. They really need to turn the dang TV sound off though, I mean, ain't it tacky enough in there?

eh-most of the time the bagels are ok. Last time i went my everything egg bagel had wayyyyy too much salt and the egg was overdone. The highschool girls provide crappy service on weekends
