Very friendly folks. Excellent, fresh bagels-good selection of bagel "flavors". I especially like their cream cheese with fresh scallions. Add some fresh tomatoes, smoked salmon, and thinly-sliced red onion and you're in business. Sandwich-wise, I've only had the Tuna Melt but it is very good: I ordered it with the Asiago/Onion roll and added avocado...yummy. I saw another table that ordered a pizza bagel and it looked tasty as well. In summation: quick, friendly, inexpensive, excellent bagels, good sandwiches.

I came here today while running errands and saw the yelp sticker on their door. I'm surprised that I haven't written a review for Bagel Bakery, especially since I've been coming here since I was 10. Maybe even younger.
It hasn't changed a bit. Well, maybe the interior has, but the quality of their bagels haven't. I've never tried their sandwiches but I love their bagels with cream cheese so much that there's no reason for me to get a sandwich. They have a wide variety of bagels AND cream cheese flavors. My favorites are cinnamon crunch and onion (not together).
Anyway, in high school I stopped coming here because everybody from school would come here and it would be like walking into the cafeteria. That kinda tells you a lot about Dublin if high school kids go to a bagel shop just to hangout. But they were damn good bagels. Now I can come here in peace without seeing anybody from my graduating class, and if I do see anybody, I can just laugh at them for still living in Dublin. suckerssss. Oh wait, I live in Castro Valley. I gotta go...

Really though, this places hanst changed since Ive been going their over a decade ago and it is one of the few places of Dublin that hasn't changed! I have fond memories of going their with my mom on saturday mornings and stocking up on bagels and their delicious big containers of strawberry cream cheese and chocolate milk. It has continued to bring me joy throughout my later years, ordering the same exact thing everytime and getting exactly what I expected. They even sell salt & vinegar chips and m&ms when a bagel and cream cheese just isnt enough. Dont ever change!

I rely on this place for great bagel sandwiches. Try the Jalepeno and Cheddar for a pleasurable kick. The staff is always friendly. Funny the only reviewer that commented on unfriendly staff basicly uses the place as a restroom. A perfect antidote to starbucks!
I'm surprised these aren't five stars all the way. I do go there and grab breakfast to go, so maybe it's because I never eat in.
Their bagels are really good. There are several bagel shops between my house and office, but I go out of my way just to go this bagel shop. Their bagels just have that little crisp on the outside and are super soft on the inside. I'm a big sourdough bagel fan so this is perfect for me. I like their prices and they have a good juice selection.
This place is nothing fancy, but the bagels are really good. I truly drive out of my way to grab my morning bagel from them.

i just ate one!! i have been going here for the past 3 years now for all of my carb needs and have always been satisfied!! the bagels are always fresh and warm, the service is always quick, too. i usually get lox and cream cheese and their lox are fresh, too!! they never skimp on anything.. which is cool, cause i like to load up on all the acoutrement( the spell check isn't working so i am sure i spelled that incorrectly). they also have breakfast bagels with eggs, which is always a treat for my ever increasin saturday hangovers. i think they need spinach incorporated in the breakfast egg thingys.

I've been coming to the Bagel Bakery for six months. They have the best bagels, and, I think, the best sandwich in Dublin. The Bagel Bakery Special is a turkey and avocado and you pick your fresh roll, which is really the treat since its crusty, toasted bread (onion, asiago, dutch crunch). Get it without mustard. It rocks.
Service is flaky. They have a couple of folks who can cope fine with any order and another person who, often, annoyingly, working when I come in ,that you have to watch to make sure that she doesn't ignore your order completely and/or fail to cut your bagel or sandwich.
Still, this place is far superior to Noah's: real bagels, great sandwiches (get the lunch special--its cheaper than a sandwich and a drink). I'm a customer and I'll remain one.

I had to come try it out because of the reviews. I got the dozen bagels with two cream cheeses. I'm not a sweet bagel person, but the first one I pulled was Banana Nut, which I thought was jalapeno. I was surprised when I bit into a perfectly crunchy walnut. The flavor was not strong, but the texture was soooo good. The bottom of the bagel is nice and crispy without being hard, the inside is soft and chewy. After half of the banana nut I switched to the everything bagel which I will pass on in the future because one of the toppings on it is fennel. I like fennel, but I don't like biting into a whole fennel seed. Just a personal preference on my part. I did have the tomato garlic cream cheese on the everything bagel. This was almost enough to make me finish it, even with the fennel seeds. I LOVE that cream cheese!
Prices aren't bad. $14 gets you a dozen bagels (not including the cheese ones, which looked so good, but I'll try them on a later trip) and two containers of cream cheese.
Oh my goodness this bagel place is glorious. Seriously.
It is so good it makes me speechless.

Great honey butter and down-to-earth staff. A snack-stop when in the area. Not really a place to lounge in, but reliable.

I go here for coffee. If I want to go to the restroom I have get permission to go thru their kitchen. Not a freindly place. One of the doors does not close properly creating a dratt on cold days. Hasn't been fixed in years dispite my reminders. Can't
complain about the bagels since I don't buy any.
