I used to go here when I was younger. There was only one disasterous hair cut, but I think that was just a miscommunication issue and I was in high school. We all know how well we communicated when we were teenagers.
I usually got my hair cut by the younger lady when I used to go there. I've gotten my share of perms too. (it was the 80s/90s, leave me alone). The older lady did my hair for a dance in high school, and it was so elegant. WAY better than the $200 I had spent the year before at another salon that not did awful hair, the stylist burnt my ear and didn't even apologize or take money off the bill.
My mom still goes there to this day. It's relatively cheap hair cut (last time I checked it was around $22 for long hair), and they are usually up to date on the styles, but most of their customers are middle aged ladies and their kids (and the some of the kids when they get older).
I only stopped going here because I just do too much coloring and highlighting to my hair that I go to a professional colorist now. -

I've been to Baek's a couple of times primarily for haircuts and styling. I've walked out satisfied most of the time. If I remember correctly, there are two ladies that work in the salon. Sylvia usually does my hair; I don't remember the other lady's name. Yesterday she styled my hair for a formal event that I was working at. The style came out just the way I wanted and I loved it. All in all, I would say these ladies have mad skills. Buuuut the service is not always the same. If they are busy, they will rush to get you out of there.

I have going to this place for years and so has my whole family. I trust what Sylvia does on me. She does excellent party hair too! The prices are so reasonable and the quality is great too. MUCH cheaper than other places around the area.
