I'm a new Beloit resident (moved from Chicago/Champaign) so I'm used to a certain level of quality when it comes to liquor stores. By that I mean they must have more than your average Miller/Bud/Coors/etc stocked in the refrigerated section, though of course my ideal is also to be able to find a myriad of local beers or other brands I've never heard of. I thought I had found what I was looking for in the liquor section of Woodman's, but what it was missing was a mix a six section, where you could combine six individual beers from any pack to create your own. That's where Badger Spirits comes in!
With tons of local beers and plenty more unusual brands, their mix-a-six section leaves me in awe, and always excited to go back and try more.
I haven't been yet, but every other weekend or so they hold beer tastings. Hooray!

Badger Spirits is Beloit's and Janesville's largest independent full service liquor store with all the brands you'd recognize plus more. Featuring over 100 vodkas, a large selection of whiskies from here and around the world plus a great selection of tequila. We have over 1000 fine wines so you'll be able to find just what you're looking for whether it's a gift or for yourself. In the beer department, we have over 600 domestic, micro and import beers. We are the "Home of the Mix 'n Match 6 Pack" where you can make your own 6 pack from over 300 different brews for just $9.99. Located in Beloit at 2621 Prairie Ave. or Janesville at 1507 Center Ave.
