    This store has some beautiful clothing, jewelry, accessories, and miscellaneous decorative items. The atmosphere is peaceful and very cozy, making it feel comfortable to just hang out and shop, or just look around. Mostly I just look and dream, but for my small pockets, there is a separate area in the store for used and closeout stuff.  They also feature a lot of local artists, jewelry makers, and designers. If I have to compare Backspace to any other store, I would pick one in Noe Valley or Pacific Heights in San Francisco (but with better prices!)
